I have been using Flash wipes in my kitchen for some time. When I was shopping in Sainsbury's the other day I noticed a special offer on their Microban antibacterial wipes. They were only £1.29 compared to £1.79 for the Flash wipes, so decided to give them a try. I have actually found them to be better than Flash as the wipes are thicker and much more moist. I only needed to use one wipe to clean my daughters highchair after her lunch, and usually need 2 or 3 of the Flash wipes. (Very messy child!!) You get 50 wipes in a pack compared to 40 in Flash. They claim to protect from germs for up to 12 hours, and kill E.coli, Listeria, and Salmonella which is very reassuring with a young child. I have also found them useful to wipe down her changing mat, and her toys. They are good for wiping the telephone over, and basically they are great for cleaning anywhere! The handy pack also fits very nicely in my Flash wipes box, so no need to buy a new box. If you haven't got a wipe box already, they do sell Microban ones at Sainsbury's.
Sainsbury's introduced their Microban products some time ago - a range of cleaning products and kitchen utensils that are all anti-bacterial. Of course, they have cleverly cottoned on to the fact that surely no-one likes to think that their kitchen for example is a haven for bacteria and will no doubt try out these products and continue buying them with this thought in mind! I recently tried out their anti-bacterial wipes and was impressed not only by their versatility but also I can see the pack of 40 wipes will last for a very long time. They are very rich and heavily impregnated with cleaning fluid, so are adequate for most cleaning tasks. The lidded container keeps them moist and they have a lovely, fresh, clean smell. They claim to eliminate common types of bacteria for up to 12 hours which is reassuring. I initially bought them to use when cleaning my son's highchair, but have ended up using them for his toys, (and anything else that he is likely to put in his mouth!), as well as every available surface and piece of equipment in the kitchen!
