“ Brand: Tesco / Type: Cleaning Wipes / Category: Cleaning Products & Utensils > Wipes, Towels, Tissues „
I buy floor wipes every few weeks. These wipes are a £1 and Tesco stock two varieties apple and marine. I always get apple.
The wipes come in a large green packet. There is a tab on the front which peels back so you can get a wipe out and then this reseals to stop them drying out.
The packet claims that the wipes kill 99.9% of bacteria and germs.
The wipes are suitable for use in the toilet and the bathroom.
I have tried both varieties of these wipes and they both smell nice but I love the smell of apple so I always go for that. The wipes are very thick and they have a rough texture to them. They are also very moist when they come out of the packet. The wipes are a decent size and my kitchen which I would say has a medium sized floor can be done with one wipe.
I have tiles on my floor and they do get dirty as the kitchen leads onto the decking and garden and it does get messy my tiles are cream and brown so the cream tiles show up all the dirt, my daughter who is 2 also manages to make a sticky mess on the floor and she is always dropping food so under the table gets really messy. These wipes are excellent at removing the dirt. Even stuck on bits come off as you can scrub with these wipes.
I am always supposed after I have used one of these how dirty it is.
The wipes don't leave the floor too wet and in a few minutes it is safe to walk on this is essential for me as my downstairs is very open plan so my daughter is always zooming around.
When I look at the tiles after using one of these they look shiny and streak free, they even do a good job on my horrible bathroom tiles which are black marble and show streaks and foot marks which annoy me.
These wipes are really good I have tried Dettol and Asda wipes and these are by far the best. For the money you get 15 wipes which deliver excellent results.
5 out of 5 from me.
I stocked up on antibacterial wipes and these floor wipes when I knew that I would be potty training my son. I clean my floors regularly with a steam mop but I wanted something to clear up any accidents or spillages during the day, between cleans.
The wipes come in a pack of 15 wipes and cost £1.10 from Tesco. The packet is a plastic pouch with a resealable opening on the front through which the wipes can be removed. Once a wipe is removed, this reseals to ensure the remainder of the wipes do not dry out. This maintains it's sticky well and kept resealing for me until the wipes were all finished. The wipes themselves are quite thick and fairly large too - much thicker and larger than regular antibacterial wipes. They smell fresh and the scent hits you as soon as you open them up. It is not a distinctive scent - I prefer citrus smells for such wipes - but it is definitely pleasant and clean smelling.
To use, you simply rub the wipe over the patch of floor you wish to clean. I have used on my kitchen tiles and laminate flooring and they work well on both. They are very moist and can be used to wipe up small sticky patches and clean the floor at the same time. I have also used to clean my floor around where the potty sits to ensure that it is kept clean and germ free - they offer a quick and convenient way of cleaning up at the same time as giving me good piece of mind. They leave the floor wet for a few seconds but this dries up pretty quickly and leaves no visible patches. I often do not clean my whole floor with these but just a patch so this is important to me. I would say that these are best as a quick fix and not for a whole floor clean. The wipe does clean up dirt and dust well though - you can often see evidence of this on the wipe after use. How many wipes you need per clean also depends on how big your floor/the area you want to clean is. I find one wipe sufficient for my needs when cleaning just a patch (up to around 5ft square) but for a whole floor you would need upwards of 2-3 wipes, meaning a pack of 15 wipes wouldn't last you very long.
Overall, a decent price for a good quality, convenient cleaning solution - ideal for cleaning up patches of laminate or tiled flooring.
This is my review of Tesco Antibacterial Floor Wipes, which I have been using for a few years now. In this review I've given information from the packaging first, as there's quite a bit of it and I feel it's relevant to include it to help anyone considering buying it to make an informed choice. My experience of using the wipes follows.
Kills 99% bacteria including ecoli, salmonella & listeria
Pack of 15 fresh fragrance,multi-action moist action floor wipes.
Removes kitchen and bathroom dirt
PCS Registration No 96401
Suitable for vinyl & sealed laminate flooring, linoleum & glazed tiles [complies to EN1276]
Not suitable for untreated wood, clear plastic or glass, fabric, woven material, rugs or paint.
The wrap itself can't be recycled at present, which is a shame.
Peel back the re-sealable label.
Pull out a wipe.
Test in an inconspicuous area first if you haven't used them before.
Reseal the pack carefully after use to prevent the remnant drying out.
Storage should be in a cool, dry place. The pack should not be frozen or stored above 45C
The used wipes must not be flushed down the loo! 'Bag It & Bin It Don't Flush It' is the logo.
They must be kept out of the reach of children. Wipes should not be kept near open flames or heat sources, though there is nothing to suggest they are flammable. You should avoid contact with eyes or damaged skin, and rinse thoroughly with water if this happens, seeking medical advice should symptoms persist. You should not mix with other cleaning detergents and wash hands after use. Scariest of all, in a way: they are not for personal use! The thought of that made me shudder slightly!
This box lists all those wonderful chemicals whose names I vaguely recognise but whose purpose I do not! Here the wipes are described as 'Tesco Lemon anti-bacterial' which is the only time I've seen the fragrance referred to. Words like 'parfum' and 'disinfectant' I can handle; if you want to know more about methylisothiazolinone you may discover more on www.detergentreginfo.com - a web address thoughtfully provided by Tesco. I was interested to read that they are made in Israel.
===A Promise From Tesco===
Fair play, they are happy to refund or replace any Tesco product which falls below our expectations; just ask any staff member - it says so here! Their address is given [twice, for good measure], a freephone number with availability times, and www.tesco.com should you wish to shop online.
I started using these wipes when our bathroom was refitted a few years ago. As I've been using these for a while, so to be honest I have no real memory of testing out in an inconspicuous area. Knowing myself as I do, I probably didn't do it!
I was sceptical at first about the seal on the pack. I really thought they would dry out & be next to useless. My cynicism was probably caused through having similar experiences with baby wipes at Preschool. In fact these wipes have sealed very well & there has been no hint of drying, so top marks on that score.
When I open the pack to pull out a wipe there is an instant hit of fragrance. I suppose I can detect lemon in there, now I know I'm supposed to be able to smell it, but in many ways it's just a fresh cleaning smell: not remarkable but not unpleasant either. I guess the wipes are about 25cm by 15 cm and look a bit like wet white J cloths but with a kind of meshed texture that makes them slightly stretchy. Each one comes out separately but if you did pull out two at once I think you could easily replace it in the pack & it would not be wasted.
I use this product in our main bathroom which is used mainly by our adult son and rarely by us as we have a small ensuite bathroom closer to our bedroom. It probably doesn't get cleaned as often as it should because he works from home & it's hard to time cleaning with his lack of routine & the other things I need to do. So gets vacuumed more often than properly cleaned. I give it a good blitz when he's away on business, which happens frequently enough. He does seem to use a lot of talcum powder, leaving a fair amount on the floor, and really it's for cleaning this that the wipes come into their own. The vacuum doesn't seem to do a lot, but the wipes clear it effectively and bring it up to a bright, shiny surface with little effort. Another advantage is that I usually only need one wipe for the whole floor - it's not a huge area.
These are the kind of wipes that I think you could attach to one of those floor sweeping gadgets or mops, but because of the configuration of this bathroom & the space available I honestly find it quicker & easier to do it on my knees. I can do a thorough job in less than five minutes, and at least I know I haven't missed any corners.
===Price and Availability===
I don't remember how much I paid for my last pack, and unfortunately the Tesco website says they are currently unavailable. The MySupermarket site lists them as £1.30 a pack, although the pack colour is yellow whereas mine is blue, but otherwise it looks the same. This works out at 8.7p a wipe, apparently. I do hope they will be available again soon as I think they are a good product with no drawbacks for me. Tesco seem to have a habit of discontinuing products I really like!
Thank you for reading my review, which may be posted on other sites.

I've got a mix of carpets, lino and laminate flooring in my house. Whilst the hoover picks up all the pieces from the lino and laminate it doesn't actually clean them. I've got a mop but only mop once a fortnight, I needed something to give the floors a nice clean between mopping, that's hen I found these floor wipes from Tesco.
The wipes come in yellow packaging, with a blue resealable tab that displays all the products information. Inside the packaging is 15 floor wipes. These wipes cost £1.25 from Tesco stores, they can quite often be found on offer 2 packs for £2.
The wipes are 28cm x 22cm, so a nice size to be able to get a good hand on them, or if you want to use them with one of those brush things, they are big enough to fit on there too. They are white in colour and have a lemon smell. The smell isn't just of lemon, it has the faint scent of disinfectant too, but for the natural of the product, what else would you expect?
The resealable tab on the packaging works well, I've found even if I leave it a month before getting to the end of the packet, the last wipe is still as fresh as the first. The hole in the packaging is a nice size too, so you don't have to struggle getting each wipe out.
The wipes are easy to use, I learnt my lesson the wrong way and started wiping the floor at the wrong end so got stuck in the corner of my bathroom the first time I used these. They don't leave the floor overly wet, like a mop would, it only takes a few minutes for the floor to dry so I wasn't waiting around in the bathroom for long.
The results that these wipes produce are excellent, they clean all dirt and grime, granted, sometimes a little more elbow grease is required than other times, but it still gets the dirt off regardless. I've never experienced a wipe tear from vigorous cleaning either, so that's definitely another plus. Once the cleaning has been finished and the floor is dry, it does leave floors looking cleaner, I wouldn't say shiny, but they do look a lot better than before they were wiped with these.
I'd definitely recommend these wipes, they cope with hard graft well, smell ok, and clean excellently. The price isn't too bad either, especially compared to branded products and if you can get them on special offer, even better.
Tesco Antibacterial Floor Wipes cost £1 for a packet of 15, so they're about the eight pence mark each. They come in a flat plastic wallet just like a packet of baby wet-wipes - with a clear sticky-plastic re-sealing strip over the wipes' 'exit hole'. They're impregnated with some kind of lemon-scented cleaning / anti-bacterial fluid; even before I opened it for the first time I could smell the wipes quite strongly whenever I went past the shelf I'd stored them on - so fortunately it's quite a mild, pleasant lemony smell.
Our kitchen floor is receiving some heavy-duty dirtying at the moment, as we have two young children. I don't wash it all that often admittedly, and despite multiple sweepings clear each day I never feel it's quite 'properly clean' - especially in the region round the base of the baby's high chair. I got these wipes with the initial idea of using them for 'spot cleaning' in areas where eg. bits of breakfast toast had fallen jam-side down on the floor.
Out of the packet the antibacterial wipes are very reminiscent of those microwaveable, individually-wrapped, disposable hot towels they hand round at the end of the meal in Indian restaurants: they're like heavy-duty, woven wet-wipes. I soon found on the vinyl-covered kitchen floor that 'spot cleaning' wasn't sufficient: I felt I should give the whole area a bit of a wiping-over. I used the wipe like a cleaning cloth in my hand, but the blurb on the packet suggests that you could put it over the head of your floor squeegee instead. I folded it and wiped vigorously, and refolded when the floor-contact surface looked visibly dirty then wiped vigorously again. Folding repeatedly like this, it was good for about half the kitchen floor-space: putting this in context, we have an average-sized but not tiny kitchen, and so the area you could cover with one antibacterial wipe would be about the amount of kitchen you'd get in a tiny 'kitchenette' or 'galley kitchen' (as seen on one of those daytime property development / home makeover shows where people are trying to squeeze eg. four self-contained flats into what was previously a modest-sized, two-bed family home.)
I can't say I was overwhelmed by the antibacterial wipe's cleaning effects. 'Scrubbing away' with the wipe against my fingers I picked up quite a bit of surface dirt but dried-on spots and spills largely stayed in place. If you were putting this wipe over the head of a mop or brush the pressure against the floor you'd be able to transmit through it would be even less and I think it would pick up even less dirt.
The lemony scent, that could penetrate even the sealed packet of wipes and was mild and pleasant when the package was closed became quite overpowering once the wipe had been wiped all over the floor of my kitchen. I don't have any allergies I know of, myself, but my nose began tingling (leading to the occasional sneeze) soon after I'd used the wipe. So I'm a bit worried about what cleaning products they've put in it.
If you had a sparklingly already-clean floor, with their all-permeating lemony after-scent, these wipes would work best a psychological aid to convincing you that you were really keeping it 'antibacterial.' I think that's the market they're properly aimed at: since they don't do much to clean per se - just make you THINK you're cleaning the floor (when it's not really necessary) even more.
I tried these floor wipes as my usual named brand was out of stock and have found them to be just as good, if not better. I find that they last ages both in the packet (the ones I used before tended to dry out in the pack very quickly once opened) and also when you are using them. I think they have a lovely smell which lasts a fairly long time making the rooms smell lovely and clean. I have laminate flooring throughout my house and they remove the dirt and marks in all the rooms, even at the front door and back door which can get very muddy. I also use these wipes on the shower cubicle class and metal and find that they really get rid of water marks and keep this area clean and sparkly. My only criticism is that I get through a fair few of these and could do with them coming in larger packs. Overall a great product which is just as good as my old named brand but which comes at a much smaller price.
My kitchen floor has a y lot to deal with.... with young children every mealtime is somewhat interesting and usually there is some kind of spillage. My youngest little bubba is just starting to become slightly mobile... he has worked out how to roll around and this has meant that I have to ensure that the floors are as clean as they can be. I usually use the directl floor cleaners to clean my laminate kitchen floor but to be honest I only usually do a proper mop a couple of times a week.
A couple of months ago I discovered these Tesco Anti-Bacterial Floor wipes and they have become really handy when I just need to give a specific area a quick clean or I just want to give the floor a quick once over. These wipes can be used directly on the floor and can simply be pushed around by a broom, sponge mop or my hand if your feeling really committed.
They are in a plastic wrapper and the wipes are dispensed through a resealable opening in the top of the packet, similar to a packet of baby wipes. The wipes themselves are thick and quite large and have a peasant fresh smelling aroma.
I have been really pleased with these wipes. They are so incredibly easy to use that cleaning the floor is no longer a chore that I dread. They clean effectively and are perfect when you just need to clean under the table or give your floor a quick spruce up.
I think that these wipes would struggle to effectively give your floor a really deep thorough clean as you may end up using a lot of wipes I really think that they have made my life easier so they get a big thumbs up from me.
A pack of 15 wipes costs a reasonable £1
Having moved house last year, I found myself rejoicing in the fact it has laminate flooring and a tiled kitchen and conservatory. Tesco anti bacterial floor wipes help to keep the floors in my home clean fresh and very sparkling indeed!!
These are located in the cleaning aisle at Tesco as you might expect, the packaging sticks out being a big blue plastic packet. They are priced at a pound or thereabouts and have 15 large wipes in one packet.
They are sealed by a resealable flap on the front of the packet which helps stop them from drying out, just take one large wipe out and reseal the plastic front back down again. The wipes are about 30cm by 20cm as a rough guess. This means that one wipe is usually more than enough to clean a floor providing it is not too big.
You can use these wipes either by hand or by placing one on the floor of where you are going to clean and using a mop or something similiar to that, thus saving you having to scrub on your hands and knees.
They smell quite strong upon opening the packet, the fragrance is predominantly lemony fresh. Once you start using them you'll find any spills or stains will come off rather easily, anything of a sticky nature will require a bit of elbow grease but on the whole a lot of effort definitely is not required to get rid of most common stains like spilt drinks etc, 2 or 3 wipes and it is gone leaving behind a clean spot!
The smell is lovely and fresh and it feels like you have had a really deep clean, it's very pleasant and reassures you that the floor is as clean as it can be, with these wipes you can rest assured you can get your floor done in a flash! Excellent product.
It bugs me to have to get my mop and bucket out every time I get a mark on the floor so I decided to buy some floor wipes to stop me having to do this. The ones which I chose are the Tesco's own brand as I have used wipes of their's in the past and have had good results from them.
The wipes come in a blue plastic case, this is very similar to the design of a baby wipe packet. The front of the packet has the Tesco logo and the product name on, there is also a picture of a shiny floor and one of the wipes. The back of the packet contains all the product info including directions for use. The section of the front of the packet with the logo and name is a sticky tab which is to be peeled back to gain access to the wipes.
~~USE AND RESULTS~~
It is simple to use the wipes, to get them out of the packet the sticky tab needs to be peeled back and one pulled through the cut out hole, the sticky tab must be stuck back down after use so the remainder of the wipes stay moist. The wipes can be attached to a flat mop if you require but just use them like a cloth as I find this much easier.
They can be used on all tiles and lino flooring and this is mainly the bathroom and kitchen areas of my house.
When I first opened the packet I noticed the faint smell of lemon but overpowering this was the smell of disinfectant. It was not overly strong and quite pleasant. The end result once the wipes had been used was my house smelt fresh and clean but not too clinical.
The wipes are white in colour and have a small faint pattern on them, they are each a good size, approximately 29cm by 23cm and they are quite thick. The wipes are very good when using as a cloth and they have removed some very tough stains on my kitchen floor with just a simple wipe. On my bathroom and toilet floor they have had to work harder as my boys to quite often miss the toilet so the floor gets covered and they again just simply wipe away any mess with ease. The wipes do leave the floor slightly damp for a few minutes after use but nothing like when they have been mopped.
One downside to the wipes is that they leave the lemon and disinfectant smell on my hands after use and this is quite hard to remove and I do have to wash them several times before the smell fully goes.
The wipes come in a good pack size which contain 15 wipes. As only one wipe is needed for a good sized floor this is good value and the pack lasts about 2 weeks in my house.
The front of the pack claims that these wipes remove kitchen and bathroom dirt, kills bacteria and can be used on tiles, linileum and laminates. The wipes cannot be flushed down the toilet and must be thrown into the bin after use.
The ingredients for the wipes include:-
Less than 5% Non-ionic surfactants
Perfume: Hexyl cinnamal, Limonene, Disinfectant
For a full break down of the ingredients you can look at www.ukproductinfo.com/tesco
The wipes have not been tested on animals.
There are some warnings on the packet which include:- keep out of reach of children, avoid contact with eyes, wash hands after use, do not use with other cleaning agents and ensure floor is dry before walking on it.
~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~
These wipes are a Tesco own brand and therefore can only be bought in Tesco stores, they are priced at around £1 which is great value compared to the banded wipes.
I have to give these wipes a good solid 4/5 stars. I cannot give them the extra star as they leave a nasty strong smell on my hands after use. They are very good thick and strong wipes which can cover a lot of floor and the after smell is pleasant and makes the house smell clean. For £1 they are worth trying to see if you get the same results.
In our house the downstairs is completely covered in laminate flooring and Stone Tiles, so cleaning it can be abit tiresome, especially with a dog when we comes in when muddy paws!I used to hate having to constantly get the mop out, fill the bucket use it then wait ages for the floors to dry, for them to then dry streaky when you catch it in the light. I spotted these wipes in Tescos and thought they would be handy, originally I used them attached to one of the brooms you used to be able to get with the water canister attached for disinfectant, but I soon got fed up of the cannister getting clogged and started using them on my hands and knees, with some gloves to protect my skin from any chemicals in them.
They really are great, so easy to use, you get 15 in a packet and that will last me a while, the wipes themselves are huge and really thick, I live in a 2 bed house so not huge but I find 2 wipes will do the entire downstairs of my house. They have quite a strong smell but they smell clean which is something I like, if my husband has cleaned the floor when im out I can smell the wipes as soon as I come in.
They leave the floor nice and clean and they dont leave smear marks at all, they are very quick drying, if I start in the front room and work to hallway and kitchen the front room will be nicely dry by the time I finish up.
It is £1 for a pack of 15, brilliant value for money.
Overall they are cheap and clean brilliantly!
Being the clean freak in my house, I'm always the one that does the floors. (I often find myself tutting when my wife does them as she always cuts corners!)
We have a mop to clean the floor, but I find it takes ages to dry, and always leaves marks, and doesn't get everything up, so I decided to give these a go, and have been using them for the past 2 years now.
You can obviously attach these to a brush and clean, but I prefer to get on my hands and knees and make sure I get all the dirt, especially having a dog running around with its muddy paws. The Tesco floor wipes are £1 for 15 in a pack. I generally find that 1 floor wipe lasts around 3 square metres, so for my kitchen I only use a couple, and hall I only use 2. So its fair to say a packet lasts a while, and well worth the £1 in my opinion.
The packet comes with a handy pull back tab, which is resealable after use, to make sure the remaining wipes don't dry out. The wipes themselves are quite big, and have a nice refreshing citrus smell to them. When you take them out the packet, you can even hear a slight bubbling coming from them as they are opened out, which just makes you think they are fresh.
I find they clean really well too. They are quite moist, and get up all but the stubborn dirt with just a wipe, and with a bit of elbow grease, they will have your floors looking sparkling clean in no time. The good thing I find about these cloths are that they are very strong. I have never known one to break or fall apart as I use it. They are pretty hard to tear and when you use them, you should see how much dirt they pick up from a visibly clean looking floor.
In our house I use these on ceramic floor tiles, and our laminate flooring, and they do a great job on both surfaces. As they are antibacterial, they are a great wipe to use around the kitchen floor surface in particular.
One final good point to mention about these is that the floor dries nice and quickly afterwards, so no need to worry about having to be trapped whilst the floors are still wet!
Most of our house has tiled or laminated floors so instead of doing a lot of hovering we tend to do a lot of cleaning and mopping, we have over time used a good few different cleaners and stuff on our various floors but we have recent found a wipe that can take care of all our floors.
These Tesco antibacterial wipes can be used in hand to wipe up small spills or marks or can be easily fitted to flat mop systems or sweeper systems with wipe attachments if you are going to do a whole floor and once used you simply detach and bin the old wipe and add a new one if needed.
The antibacterial benefit of these wipes mean that as well as having clean floors you also have germ free floors that you don't get with mopping, these wipes are lemon scented and also add a beautiful smell to your home after cleaning.
The pack of wipes has 15 wipes in it, I find I need two wipes for my hall which is quite large but only one wipe will do both my Kitchen and bathroom, both of which are larger than average also. You will pay £1 per packet for these and to me that is decent value for money for what they offer.
If you have a lot of tiled or laminated floors to keep clean then these come highly recommended by me, my hallway is expensive laminate flooring, my kitchen is lino tiles and my bathroom ceramic tiles and these wipes do a great job on them all and also work very well for keeping my bathroom and kitchen wall tiles clean and germ free.
Argh! Great big laminate floor!
Was my first thought when we moved into our new house. We had carpeted floors all through in our old flat, though I used to moan about having to hoover 3 times a day. I never realised how much hard work laminate flooring was though!
The first time I mopped it, I couldnt believe how long it took to dry. It turned into a disaster, as the kids kept coming downstairs and leaving little footprints everywher! I decided I needed something else, something quick and easy that didnt take hours to dry.
I stumbled across these Tesco floor wipes. The bright blue packet stood out to me, and at 99p for a pack that contains 15 anti bacterial wipes, I thought they were worth a go.
So, after sweeping the floor, I set to work. The wipes were quite large when unfolded, not very thick, but not too thin either. They are fragranced, but its not too heavy a smell that lingers for hours, either. Just a pleasant, clean smell.
My downstairs has a big open plan living/dining room, so its fairly big. I managed to clean the whole floor, thoroughly, and by hand, with 6 wipes. I was shocked, and slightly horrified, at the amount of dirt coming up off of the floor! By the time I had finished the room, the end I had started at was almost dry. I then went on to the kitchen, and used 3 wipes on the lino tyles in there.
A few hours later, I realised I was out of bathroom wipes. I ummhhed and aahhed for a few minutes, then grabbed my floor wipes. Well, they are anti bac! I cleaned my bath and sink, and the loo seat with them! My whites were literally gleaming, and cleaner than they were when I used bathroom products! I was so impressed I headed to the kitchen, and with the last couple of wipes, I cleaned my big appliances, washing machine, fridge freezer and tumble dryer! They all looked so clean after you could mistake them for being brand new!
So, now instead of paying out every week for a dozen different cleaning products, I buy my 99p wipes, that clean my floors really well, and also clean my bathroom and half the kitchen too.
Big thumbs up to Tescos for the briliiant product
These Tescos anti bacterial floor wipes have got to be my favourite cleaning product of all time.
I absolutely swear by these things they are superb!
At 99p a pack you get 15 very good sized thick cleaning wipes - they are meant to be for the use of cleaning floors - laminate tiles lino etc but I use them on absolutely everything!
I will even clean my loo with these as well as walls, skirtings, kitchen sides, cupboards, tables/furniture etc (of course not all with one wipe lol)
They are so thick you can even ring rinse them and keep using so I find that my pack lasts quite a while - although I still go through about 3 packs a week!
They make everything smell great of I think its lemon and they come in a resealable packet do that they dont dry out.
I once had to buy another brand of wipes when Tescos ran out of this and compared to these they were absolutely rubbish - much smaller and thinner and now I wouldnt use anything different - these wipes are absoutely brilliant and I would and do quite often reccommend them to anyone.
The Tesco Anti-Bacterial Floor Wipes are a fantastic method of cleaning all of the tiled floors in your house. If you, like me, find using the standard mop and bucket a bit of a pain to use and find it difficult to actually get a really clean floor out of 15 minutes of hard mop scrubbing, then these floor wipes are definitely for you.
These wipes can be fixed easily to any sweeper system with a wipe attachment, sponge mop, broom or used by hand, providing a method for scrubbing stubborn floor stains without covering your floor in litres of water. Another good part is that once used, they can just be removed from the attachment and discarded directly into the bin.
The anti-bacterial action of the wipes is a terrific benefit compared to conventional mopping which has the potential of just spreading germs across the tiled floor. Using these wipes kills off any germs and bacteria that are continuously multiplying all over the floor. After all the cleaning has been completed, the floor wipes leave a very pleasant lemon fresh fragrance behind.
The standard packet of floor wipes comes with a quantity of 15 and they cost £1.00 per packet which is only 7p per wipe! These are excellent value if you compare them to the nearest branded product which is Dettol floor wipes, which again come in a pack of 15 but the price is hugely different retailing at £2.67 which is 18p per wipe. I must admit I haven't tried the Dettol wipes so it would be unfair of me to compare the quality of the wipes, but for my usage, the Tesco wipes seem to do the job just fine.
Overall, the Tesco Anti-Bacterial Floor Wipes are a fantastic product which I will continue to buy time and time again. They are well priced and very effective at completing the task required. I recommend these for anyone who is looking for an alternative to the mop and bucket. I give this product a Dooyoo rating of 5 stars out of 5, fantastic product!
Floor Cleaner / Ideal or use on tiles, linoleum and other sealed flooring / Attach wipe to sweeper system or place on floor for use with a broom, sponge mop or by hand.
