I've got a mix of carpets, lino and laminate flooring in my house. Whilst the hoover picks up all the pieces from the lino and laminate it doesn't actually clean them. I've got a mop but only mop once a fortnight, I needed something to give the floors a nice clean between mopping, that's hen I found these floor wipes from Tesco.

The wipes come in yellow packaging, with a blue resealable tab that displays all the products information. Inside the packaging is 15 floor wipes. These wipes cost £1.25 from Tesco stores, they can quite often be found on offer 2 packs for £2.

The wipes are 28cm x 22cm, so a nice size to be able to get a good hand on them, or if you want to use them with one of those brush things, they are big enough to fit on there too. They are white in colour and have a lemon smell. The smell isn't just of lemon, it has the faint scent of disinfectant too, but for the natural of the product, what else would you expect?

The resealable tab on the packaging works well, I've found even if I leave it a month before getting to the end of the packet, the last wipe is still as fresh as the first. The hole in the packaging is a nice size too, so you don't have to struggle getting each wipe out.

The wipes are easy to use, I learnt my lesson the wrong way and started wiping the floor at the wrong end so got stuck in the corner of my bathroom the first time I used these. They don't leave the floor overly wet, like a mop would, it only takes a few minutes for the floor to dry so I wasn't waiting around in the bathroom for long.

The results that these wipes produce are excellent, they clean all dirt and grime, granted, sometimes a little more elbow grease is required than other times, but it still gets the dirt off regardless. I've never experienced a wipe tear from vigorous cleaning either, so that's definitely another plus. Once the cleaning has been finished and the floor is dry, it does leave floors looking cleaner, I wouldn't say shiny, but they do look a lot better than before they were wiped with these.

I'd definitely recommend these wipes, they cope with hard graft well, smell ok, and clean excellently. The price isn't too bad either, especially compared to branded products and if you can get them on special offer, even better.
