Advantages: Nice smell, does the job well

Disadvantages: Not good on really tough stains, nozzle sometimes seems to get blocked

This Tesco Bathroom cleaner is one that I have been buying for quite a while. I think it is just as good as the more expensive brands so I thought I'd share my feelings on it with you guys =)

The price of this product is brilliant. It costs 98p and you get 500ml worth of cleaner for your money. The Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner costs £1.35 and the Flash Guard bathroom cleaner costs £1.55 so you make a bit of a saving with the Tesco one. The spray lasts quite a while, for example if you give your bathroom a good clean a few times a week then the product will last you about a month.

The bottle is white with a blue nozzle and a sticker on the front depicting a shiny, clean bathroom. As others have said, the packaging doesn't look cheap and does make it look like it could be a more expensive brand. The back of the packaging tells you what the cleaner should do, the directions for use, the usual safety precautions and lists the ingredients.

To use you simply spray onto the surface, leave for a few seconds then wipe away with a damp sponge or cloth. The nozzle on the bottle is one that you can turn from on to off and has a little pump underneath from which the spray comes out. This works fine for most of the time but I sometimes find that the spray is a bit too thick to come out and you find yourself pumping the handle and just spraying out air. But this generally corrects itself after a few pumps.

When you spray this cleaner over your bathroom you will notice that it has a lovely smell. It is my favourite smelling bathroom cleaner and part of the reason why I keep buying this product. The smell is quite strong but not overpowering and sweet and fresh. The lovely smell lingers for a couple of hours too so it's nice if you have guests coming.

The product does the job well and will leave your bathroom nice and clean. It works well on limescale, watermarks, toothpaste stains, soapy scum and will make your taps shiny and sparkling. I also use it on my cabinet mirrors and it does a brilliant job at getting rid of any grubby marks on the glass and leaves them looking bright and clean.

However, this cleaner is not so effective on tougher stains. For example, when we moved into our new house the bath needed a really thorough clean as it was quite stained and dirty. This particular cleaner was not strong enough on its own. If you just have a normal amount of dirt in your bathroom this cleaner will be fine but anything more than that then it's probably worthwhile getting something stronger. For the tougher jobs I recommend Cif powercream. This costs a whopping £2.68 but (hopefully) you should not need to use it very often as the Tesco one works well if the bathroom is cleaned regularly.

Summary: I recommend this product
