Tesco Lemon Washing Up Liquid
Disadvantages: Slightly fake lemon fragrance
One thing we (me and my flatmate) get through in our flat is washing up liquid! We, until recently always bought really cheap stuff however we decided that although we didn't want to spend a small fortune on this type of product we needed better than we had been using for the past few months as we were running out all of the time and it was working out false economy in the long run as well as not doing the best job possible either.
I spotted this in Tesco the other day on a buy one get one free offer and felt that it was still really cheap costing £1.20 a bottle (all the better as I got one free of course!) and decided to get it to try out.
The see-through plastic bottle holds 500ml of the yellow transparent washing up liquid and has an attached red lid top to the top of it. On the front of the bottle we are told that it is Tesco Lemon Washing Up Liquid 'Long Lasting Cleaning Power' and that it has an improved fragrance. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes directions for use and warning being given, the ingredients used are given as is the size (as I have listed already) and contact details for Tesco are also stated. I like the design of the bottle as it has a slight curve to the middle of it for ease of handling and of course it is informative enough as it needs to be too.
The Washing Up Liquid Itself:
As I previously mentioned this is a bright yellow, see-through gel liquid, rather runny but not watery either. It has a strong zesty smell and it is a bit lemony and very fresh however it is a faked up sort of fragrance....but pleassant enough but not one bit natural in my opinion.
You only need a small squirt of this in warm water to create a small amount of white froth in/on water, the water smells nice enough...as does my kitchen and the water feels nice and not one bit greasy neither.
I find this to do a brilliant job on my dirty stuff. If I have stubborn pans I squirt some of this in with some water and allow them to soak for a while, its great at adding a shine to my glasses (though I do polish them with a clean dry cloth afterwards) and feel that it is a great dirt, grease and grime buster! It doesn't harm my kitchen things or my hands and leaves stuff smelling fresh for ages after using it!
This works out to be a very economical product due to the small smount you need per time you use it and it gets a thumbs up from us!
Only available in Tesco stores costing £1.20 a bottle though it is on offer with any two fragrances of this brands washing up liquid at two for the price of one bottle of course!
Summary: A decent quality washing up liquid!
