Disappointed with this product after all the reviews I'd read. Left my carpet exactly as it found it, just smelling very strongly of chemicals, which as I'm 6 months pregnant, is not desirable. Didn't make a dent in any of the grey treadmark stains on the beige stair carpet so now I'm back to square one.

I like a clean house now I don't just mean housework done once a week I mean proper OCD clean! One of my pet hates are dirty carpets and fortunately when I moved into my house as it was bought off plan I got to choose what colour carpets I wanted and I sensibly chose a light mocha throughout (except a few rooms, kitchen, hallway and ... The first home that my partner and I shared together was a rented flat. Unfortunately to us, not only did we chose the most immaculate flat that we could find when we were looking but also the most finicky of letting agents through whom we would rent the property and a man who clearly did not understand the lease concept of the flat ... Vanish High Traffic Area Powerfoam is a great product in my opinion, which is designed to get rid of marks and stains from arapets on high traffic areas in the home. This 600ml can cost only £1 from Home Bargains and I have had it for months and used it loads of times and I think I must still have about half of the can ... Read the complete review

The carpets in our hallway and on the stairs have been looking a little bit shabby in recent weeks. Despite having a mat outside the front door and requesting that people remove their shoes, particularly when it's been raining, the carpet was covered in dirt patches. It doesn't help that it is quite a light-green colour so shows up any ... Read the complete review

After moving into a new house with my two flatmates, the logical thing for us to do was to host a flat warming party. Really, it was just an excuse for a party the week before fresher's week at University started. The carpets in the house are a medium blue colour so we thought that spillage of drinks wouldn't be too much of a bother. Oh ... Read the complete review

we were having new settees in the living room, and they were coming this afternoon. the day i have been waiting for brilliant. but we had a lot to do. The old suit had to be taken out, and that was no easy job. it was so big, the front window had to be taken out to get it in, so the front window had to be taken out, to get it out. after ... I bought this item for my main room with a beige carpet it is right next to my kitchen and the back door, I didn't want to use an industrial cleaner as it can be a bit harsh on the carpet just for a bit of ground in dirt. I can safely say that this is the best item I discovered in 2010 we followed the instructions to the word and the ... Read the complete review

At twelve thirty this morning I was awoken by my cat, Mew, who was being sick on the bedroom carpet - nice eh? He had caught and eaten something quite late last night so I should have had more sense than to let him sleep in the bedroom but there you go - I spoil him and so I have to accept the occasional consequences. Anyway I cleared up ... Read the complete review

Vanish powerfoam does not really live upto its name. Unfortunately I was not too pleased with this product. I tried it on one area of the carpet onto which I'd just spilled something, and found I had to use atleast 3 or 4 applications a day for three days until it faded, and even so the stain has not completely disappeared. However it ... Read the complete review

I have just bought this product as I have two marks on my deep pile cream carpet... once is a dried in mud mark (which I must admit has been there some months) and the other is where I was very poorly after drinking too much alcohol....! The latter mark had only been there a week or so as I hadn't been able to get it out by ... Read the complete review

I thought I would give this a review as my daughter decided last night that she wanted to reach up and grab the tin of red paint that was on the shelf, pull it down and spill all 2.5 litres of it all over herself and my quite new brown carpet!! We have cream carpets so my mum is always buying and trying new products to keep them clean in-between using the carpet cleaning machine... I tend to spill a lot of things like tea and hot chocolate and stuff and the catch sometimes walks mud in so we use a lot of Vanish products one of them being this 'Power Foam Carpet ... We have a cream carpet in our hallway & found it got blackened by people coming in through the front door with shoes on so thought we'd try vanish power foam on the darkened area to see if we could get it back to the original colour. Well I am not one to review many cleaning products as I simply avoid any form of cleaning for as long as I can, until neat freak hubby comments on dust etc. However, last week, I had no choice but to browse Tesco for a cleaning product for carpet. Rushing out for a wedding party I unknowingly dropped some of my beloved ... Read the complete review

(NB This is a review of Vanish Foam Spray for carpets and upholstery) Yesterday morning I went downstairs to start breakfast, only to find a note on the kitchen table from the brownies (and I mean like an imp not a pre-pubescent girl). After staining my carpet with a bodily fluid and red wine mix, i decided to squirt half a can of vanish carpet mouse on it. In a matter of seconds, my house was on fire, and it burned down to the ground. This was entirely due to the carpet mouse, and not the amusing party tricks i was attemptin to perform at the time. ... I have a very small box room that has been used over the years for storing allsorts of household things. I decided to give it a facelift and change it into an office. This product works really well, I have used it on all sorts of stains; mud, baby sick, food stains and drink stains and it has managed to get rid of all of them. When you have a carpet stain, just spray it on and leave it for a little while then rub it clean with a damp sponge and the stain will then 'vanish', ... Read the complete review
