Wilko Concentrated Washing Up Liquid Lavender and Chamomile 750ml

I usually buy Fairy washing up liquid but when I was recently in Wilkinsons I thought I would give this one a go.
It's advertised as being specially formulated to make light work of greasy dishes. Given that it costs 88pfor 750ml of the liquid so given that it's concentrated I am already thinking that this will be great value.

The product itself comes in a large bottle with all of the information and instructions for use on the back of the bottle. It is purple in colour and whist it is lavender and chamomile it does smell more like lavender than chamomile, which I find quite pleasant. The washing up liquid is dispensed from the top and when not in use the cap can be pressed down so that none comes out if the bottle is accidentally dropped.
It should be used like all washing up liquids and simply added to warm running water. Because it is concentrated and quite a thick liquid I find that I don't have to use a lot of the product- a couple of squeezes seems to be sufficient. The lavender scent is released when added to water and there are a gratifying amount of bubbles so I do feel my dishes will be washed. I find that the best method is to get a good bubbly solution and then add the dishes so that it can do as it promises to do and cut through the dirt. This it seems to do with minimum fuss and even pans with tricky to get off grease are relatively easy to clean. It is best to ensure that dishes are rinsed thoroughly after washing because otherwise streaks and smears can be left especially on crockery and glasses but this is true of all washing up liquids.

      VERDICT...
This is probably as good as some of the leading brands of washing up liquid. It does make relatively light work of a routine task and especially if dishes are soaked before washing, I really don't have a lot of scrubbing to do.

The liquid smells good, is nice and thick and produces a gratifying amount of bubbles.
Definitely one I would buy again if in the store.
