Multi purpose cleaning product that cleans carpets, wood, linoleum, tiles, kitchens and bathrooms.
I picked this up by mistake the first time I bought it. I thought that it was just the carpet shampoo that I usually bought as the bottle it comes in is virtually the same. So when I got it home I was a bit dubious as to whether it would be any good. So you can use this for cleaning your carpets, linoleum and tiled floors and general cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom. General Cleaning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you are using it for general cleaning i.e. floors cupboard doors and the like, just dilute about a tablespoon of the solution into a bucket of hot water, you can use it neat for more stubborn marks like the black scuff marks left on the floor by some shoes and trainers it works very well on these. You can use it to clean the bath and sink too but do rinse it well to safeguard against skin reactions, better safe than sorry.it also makes a good job on mirrors if that's your thing. Carpet Cleaning ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hoover your carpet first, then mix the spruce'n' clean, 1 tablespoon to 1 PINT of warm water and whisk into a foam. You can then apply it with a sponge or soft brush or carpet shampooer if you have one like me. If you haven't got one then you can remove the dirty foam with a clean damp cloth but remember not to wet your carpet too much in the first place. try using just the foam and not the water so that you don't saturate your carpet. On the bottle they recommend that if you have a large carpet to use 1001 carpet shampoo instead of this but I've found it to be just as good on anything I've used it on. You can imagine what sort of state a carpet can get into when you have a coal fire in the winter and at times sick dog to take into account. It is good enough to clean out tea and coffee stains and blackcurrant juice too. There's no nasty lingering smell left behind eitherand it does get rid of pet accident odours too. I always keep some rea
dy mixed in an old lenor bottle, just shake it up to get the foam and its ready to use. Ingredients ~~~~~~~~~~~ All it says in the ingredients department is less than 30% Anionic surfactants and preservative,so make of that what you will I'm certainly none the wiser. In fact there isn't much information on the bottle itself at all really there is a number for a carpet careline should you need any help but I very much doubt you would need it. You get 550ml in this bottle so you can clean a fair bit for your money and the price is a very reasonable 99p, though i have paid £1.25 insupermarkets for it. Give it a try and spruce up your house!
