This is not meant to be a large area cleaning fluid, 1001 make another product called carpet shampoo for these jobs. After all this, I still have 3/4 of the bottle left, so as I see it, this was well worth the money and I can now relax a little at the thought that my carpets are safe from stains!...more

Having recently bought a house with brand new cream carpets everywhere, we resolved to be extra careful when it comes to drops and spills. As it goes though, sooner or later this becomes too good to be true and you have your first 'accident'. In our case this was a piece of pasta covered in a tomato based sauce. I got straight on the case with other non-bleach cleaners I had in the cupboard however nothing seemed to bring it up, there was still a slightly orangy stain which caught the eye whenever you walked past it. So on my weekly shopping trip I hunted up and down the shelves for something that might do the trick and this caught my eye as it is ...  Read the complete review

After managing to drop a large glass of red wine on the beige border of my lounge rug, I realised I had no stain remover. A quick trip to tesco and I grabbed this in the hope it might do the job. The one I bought was the "ultra" one which currently costs £3.00 for 500ml and comes in a bright yellow plastic bottle with a nozzle that you twist to turn on and off. The words 1001 are in large yellow lettering over a blue background. *** the claims*** Eliminates stains on carpets & upholstery Neutralises odours prevents re staining built in fabric conditioner ***how to use*** - As with all ...  Read the complete review

The 1001 Troubleshooter stain remover spray makes life much easier. Do not get me wrong, I like the 1001 products full stop but having a ready made stain removal solution in a very easy to handle spray bottle does simplify matters. If you are going in search of a bottle of 1001 Troubleshooter stain remover then just keep an eye out for the very familiar colours that the WD-40 Company use to market this carpet and upholstery cleaner. 1001 liquid comes in a vibrant yellow bottle with a royal blue cap and those colours do make the product stand apart from other cleaners. I paid £1.80 for my 1001 Troubleshooter , the bottle has a spray top ...  Read the complete review

After many months of nagging the landlords finally started working on our bathroom tiling, a long and drawn out process, it probably would have been quicker and easier to do the job myself despite no previous experience. With all the old tiling chipped off the walls the young man set to work putting up the new tiles, I've never known the process to generate so much noise or so much mess and I was less then impressed when he left our home, a trail of dirty plastered boot prints making their way from the bathroom, down the stairs and towards the front door, his attempt at brushing up the dust and dirt had little effect and was undoubtedly just for good measure then ...  Read the complete review

Being a bit clumsy and also prone to enjoying the odd glass or three of red wine it is no surprise that I have need of a good stain remover and one of the best that I have come across is the 1001 Troubleshooter Spot Stain Remover, it comesin a bright yellow bottle with a blue trigger nozzle spray the end of which can be twisted in the lock position to prevent accidental firing. Itcomes in a 500ml size and will set upi back £2.89 and upwards. Ths is an excellent product for removing red wine stains from carpet and is my go to product when I have a spillage, it will also work on other stains as well and is good for removing dirt as well. There is no need ...  Read the complete review
