Advantages: removes ink stains from carpet very easy to use
Disadvantages: made a light patch on my carpet but the stain was gone
Wow this product actually works!
There are loads of stains here there and everywhere in my house some ink stains on the cream bedroom carpet that I have tried on a few occasions to get rid of... they just will not budge.
I was at Tesco doing my normal weekly shop and while looking for a nice smelly I spotted the stain removers and though oh I need to sort that carpet. Therefore, I looked thought the shelf and the bright yellow bottle jumped out at me! the bright yellow bottle has a dark blue label that stands out the 1001 stain remover comes in a very handy spray bottle which I though was an advantage.
I set to work on the carpet sprayed onto the stain with the foam until it was covered then scrub from the outside and work my way it to begin with I couldn't see any change I though oh no what a waste of time and money but I continued on and after a few minutes of scrubbing I mopped off the left over foam with a cloth and left it to dry. Half an hour later I went back to inspect the carpet and to my surprise there are a lovely (light) cream patch on my cream carpet! That is the only negative is the patch I cleaned is lighter than the rest of the carpet!
This spray is easy to use and reasonable priced. The instruction state it is not to be used on velvet type materials.
Summary: Worth a try
