1001 STAIN REMOVER.

My husband dear man left his cup of tea on the floor when grandson Adrian visited us aged 1 guess what happened? …… Yes you are right before I could save it he knocked the tea over luckily the tea was not hot. Yes I did scream at my husband.

I had a bottle of 1001 stain remover as I was going to need to use some after the builders have finished trailing mud and cement through the house.

So after cursing my husband I found the 1001 it is in a yellow plastic bottle with a blue squirt nozzle and followed the instructions.

I blotted up as much tea (yes it was nearly a full cup spilt) with a cloth then I pointed the nozzle at the centre of the stain and squirted white foam came out I squirted this white foam all over the stain. (It is recommended you test a small unseen area first to check for colour fastness)
Then I rubbed it in to the carpet with a damp cloth and then left it for an hour or so I then got my vacuum and cleaned it. It was a little better.

The next day we borrowed a carpet cleaner (one that puts cleaner on then sucks liquid back up again) from our local hardware shop and cleaned the whole carpet with 1001.
The carpet took a while to dry and then I vacuum cleaned the carpet.

The carpet looks much, much better there is a very slight mark where the tea got spilt but I can only see it if I stare hard at the carpet.

I would certainly recommend this on stains like my tea stain. And on marks left by builder’s boots (that’s not very fair the builders were very considerate) I was relieved that it removed the stain to my satisfaction, as I have no money to buy a new carpet after paying the bills for my house extension.
Thanks for reading. My husband has promised he will not leave his cup on the floor again, but somehow I don’t believe him.
This cleaner cost £1.82

I find this works very well. So does washing up liquid if that is all available.

Living in a student house with 8 other people, 5 of whom have partners, not to mention the many house parties we have thrown, this stuff comes in VERY handy! We've actually got some in the house in the Cleaning Box! Works wonders for bush diving and spilt beer! :-)
