Post it notes are an essential part of any office stationary cupboard.

They are generall small piceces of paper, all attached on a pad which allows you to stick the note on most surfaces. You can normally move the note around and it will continue to stick to any surface you choose to place it on.

Post it notes come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. The most common is the yellow rectangle but they also come in square, circle, heart etc shape and colours vary from yellow to pink/blue/orange.

As I mentioned, they are an essential part of office stationary but are also used around most households. They are good for writing a small shopping list on or a note to someone to tell them someone called for them.

Whatever you use a post it note for, most people would agree they are a birlliant invention that we take for granted
