3M Post-it Note Pads
Advantages: really handy for notes and reminders
Disadvantages: none really
I am a bit of a freak in that each day I write myself a list of jobs that need to be done so that I can work through it and get satisfaction from scribbling things off my list as I go along! In fact it would be safe to say that I love a good list and will write shopping lists, reminders and allsorts. I write my daily notes on a post it note from the pad which I bought from amazon and this is my review of the product.
Post it notes are basically a block of small square sheets which feature a gummed back so when you peel one off after writing your note you can stick it wherever you need it be it as a reminder for something, on the fridge, the work top or wherever. The gummed surface is not tacky to the touch and so whilst it does stick to your surface it will not leave a mark on them. With some store branded imitation post it notes I have found that the gummed surface just won't stay stuck to wherever you place it and so I would say that the branded ones really are superior.
I actually bought the rainbow coloured post it notes as I thought they would look more interesting dotted all over the place than the plain yellow ones! What I like about this pack is there are pink, yellow, green and orange post it notes and it is easy enough to remove a section should you really want to use a particular colour! In this pack of post it notes you get 450 sheets and from memory mine cost around £3.00 at the start of the year.
The post it notes that I have measure 76mm square and they are a really good size for me to scribble down my lists each day. You can purchase mini post it notes but to be honest they are so small I would only see their purpose to perhaps highlight a particular page in a text book or something. The 76mm square post it notes are a much more usable size in my opinion and I find they are handy for writing a small shopping list on and then sticking them on to the back of my phone or even on my debit card which I will obviously need when I am purchasing the shopping.
My sister has a habit of flicking through the post it pad and leaving me little notes to tell me how wonderful she is and now she has gone to University I have these little reminders that will be there probably until the next time she is home and decides to leave me some more. I have used post it notes to leave a little soppy message on and stick it to some chocolates that I placed on my boyfriends pillow when he used to come and stay here of a weekend as we didn't get the chance to see each other much as we lived a long way apart.
Post it notes really are quite versatile I think in that you can use them to label, highlight something in a book, write a list or just a small note for someone and so I think the three pounds or so that they cost is nothing to pay really and I would recommend them.
Thank you for reading my review!
