“ Brand: 4 Kandles / Type: Melting wax - scented „
I love candles and fragranced oils and regularly use oil burners and tealights to fragrance my home. I think it looks really cosy too, especially in the winter months. I have a few favourites, but I also like to keep an eye out for special offers on candles, as well as treating myself to one or two luxury candles throughout the year.
So when I came across the website www.4kandles.co.uk, I was of course very interested. Best of all, they were offering the chance to select six samples of melting wax completely free. All you had to do was pay 75p postage and packing. It seemed like too good an offer to turn down and also the ideal opportunity to try out their products, so I selected six from the large selection available, paid the small postage and packing charge and looked forward to their arrival.
I was so impressed with the small samples of melting wax cakes I received, that I returned to the website to place an order.
Chocolate Fudge melting wax was one of the samples I had initially ordered and I returned to the site to purchase more of this lovely fragrance.
My sample size of Chocolate Fudge melting wax had been a small 6g melting cake, often also known as wax tarts.
On returning to purchase more, I selected another four 6g melting cakes, which was only 75p for the 4 x 6g cakes. This is part of what is known as Flexi-4, as you can choose any four fragrances for 75p. I also ordered some other fragranced melting wax, but chocolate fudge is one of my favourites.
4kandles pour their own wax cakes and it does seem as if you are purchasing something a little special when you receive your order. The service I have received has been problem free and my orders dispatched quickly.
Placing just one of the wax cakes into my burner fills the whole room with fragrance after lighting a tealight in the burner underneath the wax cake. As it begins to melt, the smell is rich, sweet and delicious. It does actually smell of both chocolate and fudge. Ideal for chocolate lovers like me!
Even before lighting the wax cake it does actually have quite a strong fragrance. When I received my initial six samples, I had placed them on my coffee table still in their packaging and could smell the fragrance whenever I walked into the room. Therefore, I had high hopes for when I actually came to use the wax cake and I wasn't disappointed.
One small wax cake, lasted for a few hours once placed in the burner with a tealight underneath. The fragrance was evident right up until the wax had melted and then still lingered in the room afterwards. Indeed, the next morning when I came downstairs I could still smell the chocolate fudge fragrance.
Depending on the size of your burner, you can place more than one of these wax cakes in your burner at the same time. If you fancy experimenting, you can mix and match your melting wax cakes if you purchase more than one fragrance, thus creating your own unique fragrance.
I think these 6g sizes are ideal as you can control just how much you use and how long it will last, as well as the strength of the fragrance.
The wax used is natural soya wax produced from 100% sustainable resources, which ensures you have no polluting fumes in your home. Full details of all candles, fragrances and burners are available on the website www.4kandles.co.uk as well as instructions on how to use melting wax with a demonstration video. It is also possible to buy the burners from the site also.
Overall, I am very pleased with these wax cakes and the chocolate fudge fragrance is one I can highly recommend. At just 75p for a total of 24g of melting wax, it does represent good value for money too.
I will be returning for more.
