... was really surprised to find myself let down by a Dulux product it has to be said. Over the years I ve used them quite a few times, and this is the first time I can say I ve come away disappointed. I purchased a 2.5lt box of this stuff to do a small box room with. I had previously painted the same box room with a B&Q one coat paint, which was also 2.5lt, and when I d finished I was left with a good half a litre of paint in the bottom of the box. It had covered the entire room really well, and the 2.5lt box I bought had been more than enough. So imagine my surprise when I wiped this tub of Dulux Once clean and realised that I still had half a wall to paint?! Us...

... doing your own painting & decorating around the house & it s defintitely much cheaper (although it takes me 10 times as long) than employing someone else to do it. I ve made many mistakes over the years by buying cheap brands thinking I d got a good deal but have learned in my wisdom that more often than not it s best to go for the better known brands & I ve always been pleased with Dulux products. At £29.99 for a 4.5l container of Once Matt I did hesitate for a moment but when I saw on the tub that it was one coat guaranteed & the coverage is up to 9m (squared) per litre I reckoned it was worth the money. ... must admit, i m a rubbish painter so anything that makes my painting experience less of a chore is welcomed by me, and this paint is a godsend! I bought 2 x 4.5l tubs of Dulux One Coat Rich Matt paint in Egyptian Cotton for a reduced price of £15 each from my local Focus store.. I believe for this size tub the usual price is £29.99. The colour I was covering was a dark red that my partners son had painted the room and so I wasn t overly confident of the claim on the tub that it would be covered in "1 coat only!" having used other one coat paint before and having to use a couple of coats to get a satisfactory coverage, and at least 3 to cover a very dark col...
