Flash All For One Bathroom Spray Cleanfinity
by katyj10 I was cleaning the bathroom earlier when I had a good root about in the back of the cupboard that's built under the sink and came across a third of a bottle left of this Flash Bathroom One for All 'Cleanfinity'. I don't recall buying it and the label looks quite old fashioned so I'll bet it's a few years old! Still, I am sure cleaning ... products don't go 'off' and began using it to clean around the sink and shower. The claim The product works for everything you can imagine you want to clean in the bathroom but I used it on sinks and shower and the two windowsills in there. It works on soap scum and water marks with intense freshness (more on just how intense later!) and leaves a brilliant shine. In use The product comes packaged in a white plastic bottle with a trigger spray that can be locked. Whilst I usually clean with bleach, I must admit the trigger spray is handy when aiming the product at specific areas like the shower. I found it easy to use but really hated the smell of this product and it made me choke, hitting the back of my throat (and I love strong smelling bleach usually!). It was easy to rinse off and definitely did a good cleaning job but I had to open all the windows to disperse the cloying smell of it. My thoughts I think this may account for the reason it was hiding in the back of the cupboard, that I just don't like the smell of this product. I can't fault it for its cleaning properties but just can't work with something that strong that makes me feel ill when I'm using it. I liked the packaging and the trigger spray was powerful even towards the end of the bottle. Price Waitrose sell this (with an updated label but the same packaging) for £2 and it's a 500ml bottle which I think is a really good price. Final word I am actually quite glad to have finished this now and it's not one I'll be buying again in the future as I just don't like the smell of it. I do like to have a separate cleaner in the bathroom even though I use bleach a few times a week down the toilet and plug holes. Not one I am madly keen on. Read the complete review |

Flash with Febreze All Purpose Wipes
by emmad5689 As much as I love my little family I have a husband and 2 young girls and none of them seem to know how to keep a bathroom tidy so I give it a wipe around nearly everyday. I don't give a full clean all the time so like bathroom wipes so it's easy to give a quick wipe around and these are one of my favourites. The wipes are ... available in supermarkets and the smaller packets are sometimes in the discount type stores, a packet of 60 wipes is usually about £2.50 however when Asda put on their cleaning events you can get them for £1 a packet which is great value and when I always stock up. The wipes come in a bright blue packet which has a pull back area in the middle for you to get the wipes out of just like a packet of baby wipes. The Flash logo is across the packet so it is easy to see what company the wipes are from, the scent of these is lemon which is stated on the pack and the pictured lemons indicate too. On the back of the packet you get the usual contact details for the company, warnings about the product and a list of ingredients. The wipes are white in colour and they have a textured feel and looks to them, the wipes are nice and moist and the resealable packet means they don't dry out. The wipes smell like lemons and have a lovely clean scent to them which I love, you can really smell them even a few hours after I have wiped around the bathroom. The wipes are easy to get out of the packet and although the pack as they are packaged perfect so that as you pull one wipe out the end of the next one pulls up ready. I find the wipes clean really well and leave the bathroom nice and shiny, as I never really let the bathroom get dirty the wipes don't really have a really hard job to do anyway. I love these wipes they make cleaning more convenient and are fantastic for a quick whizz around if you suddenly get unexpected guests. The only problem with these wipes is the price if you don't pick them up when they are on offer, I go through a pack of these about once a fortnight which is ok at £1 a pack but I would never buy them at £2.50 a pack. I give these 4 stars as they are really great wipes it's just the full price that lets them down. Read the complete review |

Flash Bathroom Spray
by basketofbuttons I am not loyal to any one brand of household cleaner, however, I do like to use a cleaner which is specifically designed for certain rooms of the house, such as a cleaner for the bathroom and a separate one for the kitchen area. A brand I trust is Flash and I know that my own mother used this while I was growing up. These days it's a ... bit more up to date and modern looking and the cleaner comes in one of those really popular trigger spray bottles that seem to be all the rage now. I buy my Flash bathroom cleaner from Home Bargains as it's considerably cheaper in there at only 99p for a 500ml bottle. I use this cleaner on al the surfaces in my bathroom and also in the shower. I spray it liberally over the washbasin, the bath, the taps and the tiles and even the toilet itself and it smells fresh and clean but not too overpowering as some cleaners can do. There is no need for me to have to ventilate the room by throwing open the bathroom window whilst I'm using this spray, even standing in the shower (this is how I clean it) and closing the door and spraying causes me no problems, though obviously it becomes more intense in such a confined space. As the bottle is trigger spray this means that I can direct the cleaner at the exact spot I wish to clean. The spray comes out of the bottle in a nice fine and even mist and to be honest, I don't find that I have to really use too much elbow grease with this cleaner as it brings off all the marks and soap scum with just a gentle wipe with a clean damp cloth. I also use this cleaner on my glass shower door and my bathroom tiles, and it doesn't leave smear marks or lines, in fact, if I just rinse and leave to dry, I find that the glass and tiles come up looking really good - very shiny and sparkling, as though I have been polishing them. It also leaves my bathroom smelling lovely and fresh and clean for ages after I've used it. It's fairly gentle on the hands too, though most of the time I do tend to use rubber gloves to protect my skin whilst doing household chores. However, on the few occasions I haven't worn gloves, this liquid cleaner hasn't affected my skin or caused me to have any reaction at all. Overall, it's just a brilliant all round cleaning product which brings my bathroom and shower room up looking great every time I have used it. It's very inexpensive, it's a brand I know and trust and I shall probably continue to keep on using this as a cleaning staple for my bathroom. Highly recommended. Read the complete review |
