... I treated myself to some Yankee Candles before Xmas I was disappointed with the Gingerbread ones and that put me off burning one of the Christmas Cookie tealights I d brought at the same time. Last night though I was in the mood for candles so lit one so I could get my spinning angel ornament going. They are GORGEOUS, the smell that comes off these candles is the best thing ever. These are tealights but they look loads nicer than the standard ones I usually buy in the pound shop, they re still white but look a lot more glossy and come in a small plastic holder instead of a cheap looking foil one. ... note that I am reviewing the votive candle which costs around £1.99 for a candle with an advertised burn time of around 15 hours instead of the tealight which is a smaller candle which has a burn time of only 4 to 6 hours, the only difference between the two candles is the size so it seemed silly adding a new category to the dooyoo database just to review an identical product in a different size.* I m a great fan of Yankee candles, I love scented candles in general and through experimenting with different brands have found that it is worth paying a little more for Yankee as the scents are so much nicer and stronger than other brands.
