Faringdon Non Stick Springform with Glass Base ... Faringdon non -stick Springform cake pan with the glass bottom seemed to be something new and to my knowledge something fairly different. Like many of us I have quite a collection of cake tins in all shapes and sizes, some I have had for years and others have been introduced as and when I came across them or could afford them. At first I found it hard to see the logic behind the product but when I realised that I could make a chilled Raspberry Dream cake and then serve it straight from the glass base I changed my tune. Oxo Good Grips Potato Masher ... potato masher is a potato masher - I cannot agree with that statement, I have my favourite kitchen tools and they are generally the ones that I stick with. The Oxo potato masher was bought on a whim, I liked the shape and style and I could imagine that you could really get to grips with mashing. If mashed potato is going to be good then it takes a strong potato masher to cope. My favourite potato masher is donkeys years old, it has a stainless steel mashing plate and a fairly long plastic handle that gives you a good grip. I have never liked the potato mashers that have a plastic mashing plate, I find that they seem to cave in when you start to apply pressure. Mashed ... Lakeland Oven Thermometer ... Indesit oven started playing up a few months ago and of course not when we were just cooking for the two of us but when we had people over for lasagne. After two hours it still wasn t hot or cooking and it began to dawn us that we were being led down the path of a costly engineer call out.
