I have been looking for a nice light source for a new room we had done up but i didn t want normal candles as they can be dangerous, especially in this room, its like an entertainment/play room etc I looked on Amazon and found these, and seeing they were made by Philips i was already liking the idea as i love Philips. I read some other reviews around and most people gave them a good review so i thought i would try them. I think i paid about £15 for them at the time which was a brilliant price. Philips Imageo Rechargeable LED Candle Lamps ... all, I m quite disappointed, because I wanted to tell you about these new candle lights from Philips, and how great they were........but they re not really........ So instead of the "glowing" report, I just want you to know about something that you d want to be aware of, should you buy these lights. I m all for ambience in the home - we have soft lamps and mood lights, but nothing beats the relaxing, fascinating glow of a candle flame. We all know about the dangers of open candle flames and the only one we have is in an aromatherapy burner....which we blow out well before bedtime. Philips Imageo Rechargeable LED Candle Lamps ... bought these candles from Amazon, having read some great reviews, after earning enough iPoints to get them. They were a wonderful reward. I have moved into a very small room so it is not practical for me to have my beloved candles. Nor is it safe. These are the answer to all my prayers. You get three candle-lamps in the box, along with the silver charging pod you see in the picture and a charger which you plug into the pod and the socket. They are operated by simply picking up each candle-lamp and flicking it gently in your hand. To turn it off, turn it upside down.
