I have always spent a lot of money on air fresheners. With having two dogs and three cats I am always conscious of the house stinking. Before the freshmatic I used to have plug-ins but with the price of electricity going up and having a four bedroomed house it was working out quite expensive. I then discovered the Airwick Freshmatic sprays. They are rather expensive to buy for the unit, around £12.00, although you can find them on offer at a lot of shops normally half price which is a decent saving. You can buy them from most supermarkets, Wilkinsons and some DIY shops. The air freshener is made by the Rickitt Benckiser Group who make quite a lot of ... Read the complete review

Here's a bizarre idea. Too lazy to spray air freshener and think plug ins look ugly? Well here's a nice looking vase-like object that sprays air freshener at set intervals. Yes, for just £10 you can cash in on the latest gadget for a nice smelling house. The design is nice in shape (very curvey and modern) but not so nice in colour (white with a green button). It looks like it belongs in a toilet, and not a sitting room. Next up, the way it works. It sprays a mist of spray on a timer, which is always funny because it often scares the life out of people who happen to be near it when it goes off. My neighbour got shot in the eye with his which is one ... Read the complete review

I like my house to smell fresh and clean but get fed up of spraying all of the time so when this automatic spray came out a few years a go, I thought it would be the answer for me. I managed to get it on a half price offer so it only cost me £5 instead of £10 which I was pretty pleased with at the time. The freshmatic is a white box that you can buy sprays for. The spray can fits inside the box and when fitted with one AA battery and switched 'on', it will automatically spray a scent into the room in which its placed. You can put a timer on how long in between you'd it to spray because is rather useful. I love this spray and the fact that my front ... Read the complete review

Air Wick fresh matic max (refillable). This review is about the Air Wick Freshmatic Automatic Spray, its basically a machine that delivers bursts of air into any room at regular intervals, having just moved flats i found this one already in my flat, although until this afternoon, it was not working, because the refill had run out and the batteries were dead. Having changed both, the refill cost me a£3.67p from Sainsburys, the fragrance i brought was Lavender and Camomile, so i cant comment on the other fragrances as yet, but sure over time i will. The Air wick dispenser has a control inside and you can set it for how long you want your bursts ... Read the complete review

As many of you may see from my other reviews, i can be fairly passionate about cleaning and products that make the home smell lovely. The 'normal' aerosol cans are good, but i often find that you have to keep a can to hand as the fragrance fades fairly quickly, also the spray can be a bit harsh on the throat (if you spray an bit much). This nifty little device is brilliannt though, such a simple idea, yet very effective. Basically it is a plastic case (with removeble cover) which surrounds you 'refil' aerosol can. It is battery operated and can be adjusted and set to go off at regular intervals. Every 9, 18, or 36 minutes, depending on how often you require ... Read the complete review
