Advantages: easy to use, lovely smell, eliminates odours.

Disadvantages: not environmentally friendly.

Airwick have been around for as long as I can remember & I'm sure if they asked a question on Family Fortunes (or similar) name 5 brands of air freshener then Airwick would be one of these.

These new Odour Stop areosols come in a variety of fragrances including Sunburst & Tropical but my favourite is the Lavender which seems to be both refreshing but calming at the same time.

The can's really attractive - the sort you don't mind leaving out on the shelf when visitors come - & has lovely sprigs of purple lavender so you can easily see what you're buying.

There's an attractive lever-push lilac dispenser top which allows you to spray a much or as little as you want. It seems to last us a long time because you only need to use a little as the perfume is quite strong. I find a quick squirt does our bathrooms & , having just cooked a load of bacon butties for the family, 2 squirts was all it needed to eliminate the cooking smells & replace with the fresh lavender instead.

I paid just £1.25 for this generous-sized 300ml can & personally I think it's worth every penny so was pleased to see it at this price in our local discount store when it was first promoted.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of arerosols (ozone layer, asthma sufferers etc) but with having a dog & cat plus hubby liking garlic means I've something now at hand to use if I need it!

It claims to 'eliminate odours without covering them up, leaving a breath of freshness in the air' - I'd agree with this - it's not overpowering & does seem to eliminate the smells you don't want with those you do.

The container can be re-cycled & all the ingredients plus instruction for use are printed on the can. There seem to be plenty of chemicals listed in the ingredients but then they're all like that aren't they? I only use when I really feel I need to & as you don't have to dispense too much at a time my conscience is (almost) clear.

summary
~
- not the cheapest around but lasts for ages - I'm still on the same can 6 months after buying.
- does seem to eliminate unwanted odours & replacing them with those you do want.
- clever design & attractive, failproof can.
- recommended if you have unwanted odours in the home.

Summary: the best spray of it's kind that I've tried
