      Very helpful

A lovely set of novelty napkins to make your party go with a bang.

My granddaughter and her friends are all going through a stage of being obsessed with all things American, so when my daughter asked me to get the napkins and tableware for her birthday party I went off in search of items with a US theme. I struck gold at www.paperific.co.uk where I found their lovely American flag emblazoned napkins, I instantly added two packets to my basket because I knew they would go down well with a group of Hannah Montana obsessed 9 - 13 year olds.

They are very attractive with bold red, white and blue colouring with the famous Stars & Stripes covering the entire front of the napkin and repeated on the back. The colours are bright and the napkins stood out really well on the buffet table, they are extremely attractive and as I predicted all our young guests loved them to the point of some of them asking for an extra napkin to take home! As one 12 year old commented, they're 'COOL'!

These napkins are 3 ply which means they are fairly thick and capable of mopping up a minor spill or to dab a rouge smear of jam from the table cloth. I found them very soft with a slightly fluffy texture which meant they were kind to the kids' skin, I dampened one to wipe my baby granddaughters face and it glided over her skin and removed the mess well. There was no bleeding of the colours used in the napkin and none of the dye transferred itself to any surfaces.

I don't know the measurements of these napkins but if I say they're of standard luncheon napkin size (ie. the packs of napkins you can buy in Woolworths and supermarkets) then I'm sure you'll have a good idea. They're certainly thicker than other napkins I've bought in the past and have an almost fabric feel to them when they are all piled up together, even once separated I could definitely see the difference in thickness between these and the Tesco napkins I bought for the adults.

A pack of 16 napkins from www.paperific.co.uk costs £2.35 which I think is very good value for such high quality tableware, I shall certainly buy them again or perhaps from another paperific range. Delivery is a flat £3.95 so well worth browsing the site and buying other items to get value for money, I bought a few other bits and pieces for the party and also some tableware to put away for Christmas Day.
