I don't always buy Andrex, in fact I tend to buy whatever seems to be on offer at any given time. I have used in the past rolls from the Poundshop but these are not good value for money. The rolls are smaller and they have more air in them so you actually get fewer sheets for your money. It is better to spend that little bit extra for much more product. It isn't often you hear me say that!! This Andrex Shea Butter, is on offer at Tesco for ú2 for four rolls and I bought a four pack to see what they were like. The packet is one of luxury, it is a dark brown packet with the Andrex puppy asleep on a soft looking brown blanket type thing, the packet states it is ... Read the complete review

More often than not I purchase Andrew toilet paper because I don't really care for the thin, rough feeling of many of the store branded or value equivalents. Toilet rolls can generally be found on offer in one of the big supermarkets anyway so there is often a good deal to be had. One of the products that I use quite regularly is the Andrex shea butter toilet rolls and this is my review of the product. On the shelf the Andrex shea butter toilet roll really does look luxurious. It comes in a deep, chocolatey brown coloured plastic packaging which has the Andrex name as well as the familiar Andrex puppy sleeping on what looks to be a very soft, brown bedding. ... I am not one for buying lavish loo roll for the sake of it; I like value for money as well as quality and tend to buy packs that are on offer rather than a particular brand or quality. Saying that however Andrex is a brand that I like a lot and this Andrex Shea butter pack is one that I will go for the most out of their range. Andrex is one of the top selling and oldest toilet roll brands in the UK, starting in 1972 and the first 2-ply tissue made. It is probably most renowned for the cute Andrex Labrador retriever puppy used in their advertising campaigns. I had a treasured Andrex puppy teddy as a child that went everywhere with me and I even bought a ... Read the complete review

I usually opt for mid priced toilet paper such as supermarkets own brand - not the cheap value stuff but their more expensive own brand. After all, I don't want it so rough that my backside ends up rough and sore after using stuff that's more like paper then tissue; at the same time I don't see the point in spending too much on it because it's only used to wipe your bum before going down the loo! However, occasionally I will splash out on that little bit more luxury when it's on special offer. Recently I was lucky enough to find Andrex with Shea Butter for the same price as ASDA shades (my usual brand) and so for obvious reasons the Andrex ... Read the complete review

Most people don't want to spend a fortune on toilet paper which gets flushed down the toilet, but at the same time, neither do you want toilet paper so thin that it is either not the nicest feel on your bum or tears easily. I fall into the category in the middle, where I don't buy the value toilet paper (although many a time I have been tempted) but I don't buy the luxury stuff either like this Andrex shea butter toilet paper - unless of course, as it was on a recent occasion, on offer. Whilst our shopping recently, I noticed in semi chem this shea butter toilet paper from Andrex being sold at ú3.99 for a 9 pack with three extra free. I thought it was a ... Read the complete review
