Andrex® Shea Butter
Advantages: smells lovely, soft and works like a charm
Disadvantages: bit expensive but worth the extra pennies really
Andrex is a popular brand of toilet paper, and for me I am quite happy to buy a supermarket brand (after all it's only going to be flushed down the loo...literally!) but where my purse can afford I will buy andrex, and my most favourite variety is this shea butter range. I initially bought this when it first came out and was on an introductory cheap offer and then of course I loved it! So now and again when I see it on offer I tend to try and stock up.
It comes in a clear plastic wrapping, with deep brown design which reminds me much of chocolate if I am honest lol. It comes available in a 4 pack or a rather odd 9 pack (I never understand uneven numbers!) and not so long ago sainsburys had an offer where the 4 pack was £2 so I grabbed these. They normally are in the range of £2.20-£2.50 for a 4 pack depending on where purchased and this seems to be the more premium range, costing more than the average pack of Andrex toilet tissue.
The toilet rolls themselves are thick and soft and you can tell are worth the value they cost. As you open the pack you can actually smell the lightly yet delicious aroma of shea butter emanating from the toilet tissue making for a very pleasant bathroom experience! The sheets are 2 ply and feel slightly quilted in that they have lines across but are thick and soft for wiping soft and gentle areas (sorry tried to keep it tasteful!). Each roll has 160 sheets (not that I personally counted) and in our house a roll can last quite long as not much is actually needed to complete the job in hand effectively. I tend to use this quite sparingly (i.e. get quite annoyed when my daughter uses it to wipe mess of the floor or for her nose!) as it is so lovely I hate wasting it on a job I could do with something else like a kitchen towel, or face tissues I keep in the box in the living room.
Overall, I love this from Andrex and would definitely recommend it to anyone with a delicate posterior looking for some luxury in the bathroom. It smells and feels lovely, and although bit more expensive now and again it is actually worth it!
Summary: shea butter toilet tissue from andrex - lovely!
