Advantages: Soft

Disadvantages: A roll doesn't last long

This is a review of the latest toilet paper we bought, we are on the last roll of a nine pack and with two toilets in the house, I'm hoping that the last roll will go in the bathroom as I use that loo more! I must admit I am a bit of a loo roll hoarder and buy them when they are on offer so that we never run out. When I saw these on offer a few weeks ago at Tesco I snapped them up as I love anything that has Shea butter in it for the body so figured toilet paper would be nice too.

Description
The toilet rolls are a white cream colour and will go with most decors. I don't like coloured toilet paper any way so usually buy white. The rolls are two ply but they are really thick layers and so soft to the touch. It is marketed as Andrex's luxury range and has a slightly quilted texture to the sheet.

In use
Without being too graphic about going to the toilet, everyone is different as to how much paper they use but at the moment, I am going to the loo every five minutes, being five weeks off my due date I constant feel like I need to go and get up all the time in the night so this paper doesn't last very long at all. I think as well the roll goes down a lot faster as it is padded and luxury and not as much to a roll. It is soft and nice to use though and strong so it doesn't disintegrate or get holes in it when you use it.

Price
All the big supermarkets are selling this brand and I have even noticed a very similar brand by Tesco's own branding which is a similar price anyway. If you buy in bulk when the offers are on it gets the price down and the current offers are:

Asda = £4 each (no multiple discount)
Ocado = £5.25 or 3 for £11
Tesco = £4.99 or two for £7.50

My thoughts
This is definitely a brand I would buy again, I think that it has been really nice quality toilet paper to use, even if it doesn't last as long as non luxury versions, it is kinder on your bum. I am not sure you can tell the shea contents are in there but it probably does make it softer. I absolutely refuse to buy value toilet paper as I think it's a false economy and prefer to stick with brand names or at least high quality stores own versions.

Summary: Nice to have a bit of luxury in the bathrooom!
