Andrex® Shea Butter
Advantages: Luxurious, nice smell
I generally always buy Andrex toilet tissue. Its one of those products that I don't really ever think about, whenever I need more I just go to that aisle in the supermarket and pick up a new bag of rolls without even looking at the other products on offer as I always go for the Andrex ones. Maybe its something to do with that cute little labrador puppy but to me Andrex has always been good quality and well worth the money. In fact, according to an article I read, the Andrex Puppy first appeared in 1972 and since then there have been 130 different adverts featuring the puppy. The puppy features quite heavily in their packaging too. On every bag you buy there is a picture of the puppy in the corner and you can collect such things as Puppy Points. By collecting the points from the bags you can then log onto their website, www.andrexpuppy.co.uk and swap these points for prizes such as cinema tickets, days out and every cute and cuddly andrex puppy toys and slippers themselves!
I have tried cheap toilet paper in the past and now I'm a bit older and not a student anymore I like something a bit more luxurious when I go to the toilet. That was my thought process behind this lovely shea butter toilet paper, I wanted something nice smelling and amazingly soft and caring on my bottom and this paper definitely fits the bill. The toilet paper is a "Touch of Luxury," as Andrex call it and they look like good quality rolls. They are made of a fairly thick paper and feel soft and bouncy when you squeeze the roll. Each roll has two ply paper which means there are two think rolls of paper joined together and that there are about 160 sheets per roll so they will fit nicely on any toilet roll holder you may have in your bathrooms.
The rolls are a nice cream colour and go well with a neutral colour scheme. The smell is very interesting as I found it quite weird initially that my toilet paper had a whiff of shea butter, a nutty, warm fragrance to it but now I am quite used to it and like that it has a nice smell in an area that usually generates some not so nice smells.
You can purchase four rolls Ł2.38 and this is one toilet paper I recommend.
