Andrex« Shea Butter
Advantages: Smells lovley, soft
Disadvantages: I dont like the colour
I don't always buy Andrex, in fact I tend to buy whatever seems to be on offer at any given time. I have used in the past rolls from the Poundshop but these are not good value for money. The rolls are smaller and they have more air in them so you actually get fewer sheets for your money. It is better to spend that little bit extra for much more product. It isn't often you hear me say that!!
This Andrex Shea Butter, is on offer at Tesco for ú2 for four rolls and I bought a four pack to see what they were like. The packet is one of luxury, it is a dark brown packet with the Andrex puppy asleep on a soft looking brown blanket type thing, the packet states it is the feel of luxury and it is! First impressions were I didn't really like the colour of the roll; they are a creamy colour which is a little off putting to me. I tend to buy white toilet roll and cream just seems dirty somehow. When I first opened the packet I was instantly hit in the face by a very pleasant smell, it took a while to work out it was coming from the toilet roll itself. Due to not having a toilet roll holder, we tend to end up leaving it on the radiator or on the back of the system. When this is left on a warm radiator it does make the room smell lovely so thumbs up for that one Andrex. I didn't realise that Shea butter had a scent but clearly it does, and I approve.
The rolls themselves have lines on them and do feel a little softer and kinder to your skin than the usual cheaper brands I buy. When wiping your delicate areas, it is a very nice experience; it is not rough or scratchy in any way. The sheets themselves are thick and the perforations work very well, they divide easily and there is no fear of the paper itself splitting or tearing during wiping. I would say that while using these rolls, the feel of the paper is almost like it is moist like a wipe; it glides so easily over the skin. It isn't wet but that's the impression it gives off.
I really like this toilet roll, I haven't bought it before but I would buy it again, I might not buy it if it isn't on offer but if it is I would happily purchase it again.
Summary: A great toilet roll
