Advantages: The adverts are sweet.

Disadvantages: The paper is not as good as much cheaper alternatives.

There is always a top brand with any product you are after and in toilet paper I like many others have always believed it to be Andrex.

The adverts with the labrador puppy have been going for years and I truly believed all the hype, plus the old saying you get what you pay for.
However because of the price I must admit that I chose a cheaper alternative until recently when Andrex was on offer in my local supermarket. I thought I would get the best and find out how much better it was!

But I was very dissapointed with Andrex Toilet tissue. I thought that it would be softer than any other and it wasn't, in fact it seemed as though it had less layers than other brands making it a lot less softer and as for the velvety feel, it was shiny, smooth and much less absorbant.

I am really puzzling to see what it is that makes Andrex better than the rest. This is definately one of those situations were you shouldn't believe what the TV tells you.

Summary: This is an overpriced tissue paper that didn't live up to the hype, for me.
