**The History**

Andrex toilet tissue was first produced way back in 1942 and was the first two ply tissue paper.

Andrex is one of the brand names of it's producer Kimberly Clark who is now the world's largest tissue maker.

We are all familiar with the adorable andrex puppy who became the marketing front for this brand back in 1972. Their original slogan to go with the launch of the puppy was 'soft strong and long' but this slogan has now been replaced with 'tuggable. huggable softness'.

**Cost**

Andrex is certainly not the cheapest of brands of toilet tissue, I recently purchased a four roll pack for £1.50 in Tesco and this was on offer, usually it is about £1.80.

Cheaper alternatives are available such as supermarket own brands but you will only save a few pennies not pounds by switching brands.

**Summary**

This toilet tissue certainly does what it says! It is very strong and you only need to use a few sheets beacause of this. I have used cheaper brands in the past and have found myself (not wanting to go into too much detail!) using nearly twice the amount.

It is very soft and I have to admit to being a bit of a sucker for their puppies on a roll brand! I know it's sad but it's so cute having those little puppies on display in your bathroom for a few extra pence per roll! I know the men won't understand, a loo roll is a loo roll right?!!

Andrex now has the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo on it's packs. This means that the fibre used to manufacture Andrex toilet tissue comes from responsiby managed forests. This is reassuring to know in the current global situation.

Overall a really good, stong and long lasting toilet tissue. At the end of the day you get what you pay for in life, be it bog roll or a motor car!

Summary: Good value.
