Picture the scene; I am wandering around Sainsbury's looking for products with bonus Reward Points on them. You may think at this point that I am a very sad person leading a less than exiting life to be spending my time thus. This may well be true but the reason I need the extra points is quite simple, I need four Sainsbury's Reward Vouchers before we go back the St George's Hotel in Llandudno in February. Still baffled? Well, we got our two for the price of one voucher from Sainsbury?s for our bed and breakfast but two Reward Vouchers will get us a buy one get one free on the meals in the restaurant while we're there and as we're there for two nights we need four vouchers.
And so it was that I came to be looking for bonus points. Unfortunately it was just my luck that there was only one item in the whole store with any bonus points available this week. As it happens it was a four pack of Andrex Toilet Tissue with Aloe Vera so I decided to try it. The pack of four rolls cost me £1.99 and I got 75 bonus points making the true cost to me £1.615 to be pedantic about it!
I had seen these toilet rolls advertised on television and I quite fancied giving them a try so I was quite happy with my purchase and the extra points got me up to my first Reward Voucher too.
The toilet tissue is white in colour with a very faint green tinge to it and it is 'enriched with extracts of Aloe Vera'. It has a rippled surface, which feels extremely soft and, lets face it, that's what you want from your toilet roll after all! I can't stand using cheap toilet rolls on my delicate botty!
I must say here that the first thing that I did when I opened the packet was to smell these toilet roils as I expected them to have a fragrance for some reason - they just looked as though they would, but I am happy to announce that they are completely fragrance free.
The actual toilet tissue feels almost creamy to the touch alt
hough it is (obviously) completely dry, well it is until you use it of course! It did feel different to my usual toilet tissue when I used it as well. Again it felt almost creamy. I know that sounds really odd but I can't think of any other way to describe it.
The boring statistics of this product are that the pack contains four rolls of one ply tissue each having a minimum of 240 sheets per roll. The average size of an individual sheet is 127 x 109mm making the total surface area of the roll 13.28 square metres, although who would want to know this seemingly useless information beats me.
The important statistic is that the average roll is 30.48 metres long so at least you know how far away that blessed Labrador will be with the other end of your toilet roll!

In conclusion I would say that this toilet tissue is excellent, if a little expensive, and I shall certainly be using it again.
