Normally when I do the shopping I have to admit that I just buy the cheap toilet rolls. It?s not something I would spend a lot of money on. So, I only came across Andrex Toilet tissue when my normal toilet rolls ran out and they were the only alternative. In a way I had no option but not to buy these.
Of course, I had seen the advertisement about this product on TV and it did appeal to me, so this was my chance to find out if they were really good.
They were certainly softer than normal toilet rolls, I am sure we all remember the tracing paper from our school days, well this product was completely opposite. You get four toilet rolls for £1.30 which is reasonable value but slightly expensive compared to my normal toilet tissue where you get six toilet rolls for £1.
A roll had over 240 sheets which was considerably more than my usual. It was softer like I said and more decorative so kids would like it but it was also strong. You could tell that these toilet rolls were quality, the texture of the paper was much smoother and it was soft on your bottom. But, also I did notice that the four rolls of Andrex lasted just the same time as our normal toilet rolls.
It also looked better on the toilet roll hanger compared to out normal rolls.
Besides using Andrex toilet tissue for wiping your bottom you?ll find that it?s just as good for using as kitchen rolls. Yes, I know you can get kitchen rolls and the decorations on the tissue ?hug me? don?t quite go on the kitchen worktop but it?s not a bad replacement if you have ran out. It?s really good at absorbing liquids and it?s really strong.
The good thing about toilet tissue is that compared to cheaper rolls where you have to use a couple of sheets, one sheet of Andrex is enough. Therefore, you may get less rolls but the quality of their rolls means that one roll of Andrex will be equivalent to two rolls of cheap toilet tissue.
If like me you didn?t and don?
t want to waste money on loo paper. Buy paying a bit extra you do actually get that much more quality. And I can understand those of you who say that what?s the point because it only gets flushed away but once you have used it you will realise the difference. The cheaper thinner rolls compared to the decorative, softer and longer rolls from Andrex.
The only way you will agree with me is if you actually do buy them then you?ll know what I am talking about. They are available from supermarkets, co-ops and most other shops.
