Advantages: Soft, Strong, No Brown Fingers
Disadvantages: Shameful , Writing , Bout Poo
Right, let's get straight to the point. We all use toilet tissue. If you're someone who dosen't feel the need to wipe thier backside after a good dump, then God help your family and friends. The question is, does Andrex do a good jobby? ( sorry, couldn't help myself! ) Andrex is made by Kimberly-Clark Ltd, a massive global company. They produce many other brands that we know and love all across the world, including Kotex feminine hygiene products, Huggies disposable nappies, Poise ( for continance issues ), Drynites ( What could these be? ) Little Swimmers ( I wonder? ) and Kleenex. Yep, they appear to specialize in products for excrement. Magic. I like a company who knows it's product. They claim they are a global company of over 64,000 people who share a passion for improving peoples lives. What a great place to start, because let's be honest, a sore backside = a miserable bunny! Andrex toilet tissue comes in several forms. We have Andrex Moist, a damp version of thier loo roll that I haven't used, so cannot comment on. I admit, moist toilet tissue scares me. Andrex Aloe Vera, which is enhanced with Aloe Vera, vitamin E and has a rippled texture " to give you and your family an extra level of care " ( thier words, not mine! ) I bought it once and yes, it was lovely, but I still preferred Andrex toilet tissue origional, and so have based my actual product testing review on this. We all know that the advertising campaign for Andrex claims it's soft, strong and very very long. But how true is this claim? Andrex is soft, there's no denying that. Each sheet of tissue is actually made of a double thickness making it twice as soft as a single sheet. It has a really nice velvet feel to it. When I use it to wipe those regions where the sun don't shine, even when I'm suffering from the effects of one chocolate Wonka bar too many, my backside does not feel as if I am usi
ng an electric sander to clean it. So, yes, it is soft. It is also long. To be precise, the average number of sheets on a roll is 241. The average actual length in a roll is 29.76 metres. Each sheet has an average size of 124x110mm. So my conclusion is yes, it is long. But is it strong? Well, I think so. A good test of how strong toilet tissue actually is, is to see if you get ( I apologise in advance ) brown fingers after wiping your backside. If the tissue remains in one piece, it's a strong tissue. And every day I thank God for Andrex, as I am not someone who has brown fingers. Ok, so I think I've made my case. Andrex toilet tissue is indeed soft, strong and very very long. But at what price? Well, I just bought a pack of 9 rolls from Sainsburys for £3.94, and it came with 3 free. So at the moment, they are £3.94 for 12. Or, you could get 4 rolls for £1.64. Also, our local corner shop is selling the 2 roll packs for 89p right now. A small price to pay for a comfy sit down, I think. Andrex have a European website, aimed at children, with lots of games and facts about those lovely little Labs in the adverts. So, if you want to download a desktop Andrex puppy, I've provided the addy below. http://www.andrexpuppy.co.uk/flashsite/intro.h tml
