The review Im doing today is for the Andrex Eco toilet tissue. A mad rush into Asda meant a quick scan of the cheapest ( but NOT the basic cheap tissue! ) toilet paper, before heading home as there was nothing in sight in the bathrooms. I picked Andrex Eco because at the time it was cheaper than the Asda own brand as it had ...  Read the complete review

Andrex Toilet Tissue: Good quality (290 words)

I usually always buy Andrex tissue as I think it is very good quality. Sometimes we try other brands to see what they're like but usually end up back with Andrex again. Recently, however, I've had a few negatives with Andrex so maybe we will begin to look elsewhere again. Andrex toilet paper is often more expensive than others ...  Read the complete review

Like many similar reviewers our family has been a habitual user of Andrex toilet tissue for many, many years. But that is all over now. This product separates as soon as it touches the skin and you have to use about a dozen sheets to make it strong enough to be useful. Frankly you'd almost be better off wiping your bottom with your hand and then washing it in the sink.I really don't understand this. First Pears soap changes so no one buys it anymore, now Andrex changes and people are stopping buying that too. A lot of other products (eg. crisps, coffee, fruit juice) are going from basic -> premium but for some reason Andrex have decided to move in the other direction.

Because this is something that is dear to my heart, well...bum, the 12 pack of Andrex classic white toilet tissues will go straight down the loo, and I will buy better quality ones, ALL my life I have used Andrex, now at the age of 55 I need to spend time and energy looking for different toilet paper, and how do you test toilet tissue prior to buying it...I am in shock.

When I do my weekly shop I try to economise and won't buy branded products if I can get something of similar quality for a cheaper price. So, usually, I opt for supermarket own brands of toilet paper. Just recently, however, there have been a variety of good deals on Andrex toilet rolls so I have bought a few packs of these - in 4 ...  Read the complete review

I bought this while it was on offer in tesco with 50p off (was only 5p more expensive than tescos own brand). I bought the 9roll pack considering it was much better value than the 4 roll, and obviously I will continue to need it, and it isn't going to spoil any time soon... Andrex comes in a big plastic packet, similar to any ...  Read the complete review

I am so disappointed with the Andrex classic white ! yes it's double sheets and it's soft but the two layers separate ! and also the tissue breaks up in your hand as soon as water hits it ! when you wipe yourself bits of the paper roll together and break away getting stuck in every crevice !!! My husband bought two packs because they were on special price at Tesco ... I have thrown both packs in the bin

As I have found out over the years buying cheap toilet paper is a false economy. Not only does it not feel as nice to use but it also ends up getting used a lot quicker because it is so thin you need much more of it to do the same job that a couple of sheets of decent toilet paper does. Andrex is always a brand that I look ...  Read the complete review

We have been using Andrex toilet paper for quite a few months now, mainly because where we normally shop (Waitrose or ocado website) they always tend to be on promotion (mostly two 9-packs for £7.50, currently three for £10.50). Plus, it feels good not always to buy from Value range. We have tried most of the varieties, my ...  Read the complete review

---Why I Purchased Andrex--- I normally buy the cheapest own brand toilet tissue from Tesco - or their new discount make of Spring Force. I never thought I'd be writing a review about toilet paper, but the rolls in the two multipacks of Andrex that we recently bought (white and pink) are of such awful quality that I decided to put pen to paper, so to speak.Thankfully they'll be used up quite quickly as it's necessary to use several sheets together to increase the thickness so as to avoid your fingers perforating them in use!Beware the supermarket bargain - You get what you pay for!
