I'm sure I used Ariel when I first moved into my own house as it was a name that I recognaised and it was brand which was best in my eyes at the time. Through the years I have fluctuated between Ariel, Persil and Surf and it is usually Surf what I use and this is probably due to the pricing and different scents that it is available in. I have been using Ariel for the last month so far and I bought this because it was on a good offer in my local shop.
You can buy this in a few different sizes and the larger box you buy the cheaper it works out. I picked up the 2.5kg and it was on offer for £4.50 instead of the usual price which I think was around £5.80. I bought the Non Bio one but you can buy this brand in Bio as well.
This seems to be quite a course Powder. I know that Washing powders aren't exactly fine Powder but this just seems a bit rougher than others that I have used. Not that I have really felt this powder but just by the look of it. There is a few coloured grains mixed through the white powder.
The scent of this is nice. It is just a clean scent. There doesn't seem to be any Fruity or Floral scent to this it is just a nice clean airy scent.
So how do I find this to work? Well it does what it should do and I don't have any complaints about it. Our Clothes just generally need washed and we don't tend to have any heavy stains on them - but I do have a tendancy to spill pasta sauce onto my white dressing gown more often than I should! Any stains it gets rid of just fine and also my clothes are left nice smelling.
A good powder that I would be happy to keep using. The only reason I don't use this more often is because Surf works out cheaper.
