Advantages: Keeps surface clean-kills losts of bugs
Disadvantages: might not like using
I do not use that much bleach as I do not tend to like to use chemicals to much as they get in to the water course and it is hell's job to get them out again. I buy cheapo bleach from Asda. Their farm store brand, which are 15p per litre. It is the thin bleach but then I do not use it down the toilet. I use something else down the loo. The bleach comes in a nice white bottle, which is nice and easy to handle. It is not really thick plastic like some other brands. But as it is only going to be used and thrown away afterwards it does not matter too much. I only use the bleach to bleach my dish cloths and bleach surfaces down as well. I also do stick it down the plugs if they start to smell a little bit. I find that it does it job very well. Too well sometimes. Once I left the clothes just a little to long in the bleach put them in washing machine and they came out in shreds. So cheap can do the job just as expensive. I know that most people will not use own or economy brands, as they do to like to be seen to be cheap. But in some things like bleach it makes no difference as you are eating or drinking it. The best thing I find for removing tea/coffee stains from teapots/cups etc. I use Bicarbonate of Soda with a dishcloth rather then bleach. And it is really cheap and works well on any stain even crusha strawberry came off the counter top using bicar. Overall I find bleach very useful but do not use it all the time only when needed and then the barest minimum that I can.
