I can't bear to be without fabric conditioner and I hate the feel of clothes that haven't been rinsed in it. I've tried lots of different conditioners and find that they are pretty much alike, most make clothes soft it is just the different smells that set them apart. I'm a great lover of Asda's Farm Stores products, they're cheap, good quality and I've rarely found them to be less superior than branded goods. But I have to confess that I used to be a washing powder/fabric softener snob. Only branded products used on my clothes, until that is my daughter was born. She has very sensitive skin and even fabric softeners designed for sensitive skin bring her out in a rash. I must have tried almost every fabric softener on the market and in desperation tried Asda's Farm Stores Fabric Softener. I didn't expect much as it only costs 59p for 2 litres, I thought it would probably smell awful and not make the clothes very soft. How wrong could I be. The smell is quite nice, not sickly like some other softeners, it actually smells better on the clothes than it does in the bottle. It also makes the clothes soft and most importantly, does not make my daughters skin react. The range is limited as there is only the one product, with one fragrance and it's ready to use, not concentrated. Admittedly it's not as nice as the big name conditioners but for 59p it's a very good buy and I would even pay more. (But don't tell Asda)!
