I nearly always use foil to wrap up lunch box sandwiches, but I tend to purchase the Tesco value range wrapping foil, which works a treat, however, it isn't suitable for use in the oven and so I always have to purchase a proper kitchen foil that I can use in the oven etc. I tend to go between Tesco proper kitchen foil as this Asda one. I don't have an Asda in my town, but I do visit one that is in my nearest bigger town frequently, and on my last trip I picked up this Asda own brand kitchen foil which is currently on offer for just over £1.20.

This foil is suitable for cooking with, for example it can be used for covering dishes in the oven, I use it to line my grill pain to avoid having to clean it as frequently and use to it keep a dish warm before serving, especially if I have visitors around, and I am running out of room in my oven. This foil is also suitable for freezing, although I don't ever tend to cover something with foil for the freezer, but it is a useful feature for those that do.

This foil comes as roll of 30 metres with the sheet length being 305mm so it is a good size for covering an oven tray or for covering over a casserole dish.

Although I don't use this for wrapping sandwiches as I use the cheaper Tesco value version, I do use this a lot for my general everyday cooking and I find it to be great. It works perfectly in the oven which is really what I want it for. I often heat bread when I buy it to go along with homemade soup etc and covering it with this foil protects the bread and keeps the heat in until I am just about to cut it to serve. I use this to line my grill pan and it works well in preventing me having to clean this after every use, as I can simply change the foil and dispose of the old foil which has collected all the grease etc when I have been grilling something.

For the price of this product, I think it is a great everyday kitchen foil and I don't see why you would need to purchase the more expensive brands of foil when this one will do everything you need it to, at a lot cheaper price.
