I brought a bottle of this washing up liquid from Asda because they had their Fairy on offer at the time and most of that had all gone, with only the anti bacterial one left on the shelf and I don't like the smell of that. This one got chosen purely for the colour of the washing up liquid because it's a bright lime green that stood out from all the rest of them on the shelf. I like the smells of lime and cucumber so thought I'd deffo like this washing up liquid. The main smell is lime and that makes it a lovely zesty washing up liquid, it's quite a strong smell and you can smell it in the kitchen for a bit after you've washed up. The cucumber ... Unfortunately for me, when we moved into our new home we couldn't fit a dishwasher in. I was pretty gutted about this and it was a bit more of an issue because the kitchen was small so the kitchen can get out of hand pretty quickly. At the time my hubby said he would responsible for all of the dishes and I wouldn't have to lift a finger. Time as gone on and although he does do the occasional load it is left to me most of the time (He writes on here as Bruffyboy so if you fancy giving him a low rate on one his reviews then I'm not going to argue!!!! Not that I'm holding a grudge! Only joking). I hate paying over the odds for most things and that includes washing up ... Read the complete review

I use a lot of washing up liquid as I don't just use it for washing dishes, I also use it, mixed with bleach in very hot water, for general purpose cleaning. Because I use it on many surfaces in the house (including kitchen and bathroom surfaces as well as my bathroom tiled floors and walls) it's particularly important for me that the liquid smells nice as well as cleans effectively. As a cost cutting exercise (yet another one) I've recently started trying shops own brands of washing up liquids and this Lime and Cucumber washing up liquid from Asda was a recent purchase. I brought this as it was on a 2 500ml bottle for £1 offer, but one bottle can ... Read the complete review

After using fairy washing up liquid for a few years now, I was on the look out for a cheaper liquid that would be just as effective and long lasting as the fairy brand. I do my monthly shopping at asda so I decided to give there own make a try when they were on offer at 2 for a quid, I wasn't expecting much but decided for a quid for 2 it wouldn't hurt. The description: One of the liquids that I purchased was the lime and cucumber variety. The bottle is clear and you can see the lime green liquid inside. The bottle has a bright green sticker on the front with bubbles. The packaging is standard and requires all the information needed. The bottle size ... Read the complete review

I have a terrible habbit of standing in the washing up liquid aisle of my local Asda and sniffing the liquids untill I find one I like.... I loved the eye catching bright lime green colour of this washing up liquid as soon as I saw it. I opened up the bottle and sniffed at it and it was such a nice strong citrus scent, even though it's lime and cucumber I could only smell the lime and I liked it! It comes in your usual shaped washing up liquid bottle which makes it easy to grip with wet hands and it has a red flip top lid. I only use a tiny but as I find it bubbles up really well, a little really does go a long way with this ... Read the complete review
