Advantages: Cheap

Unfortunately for me, when we moved into our new home we couldn't fit a dishwasher in. I was pretty gutted about this and it was a bit more of an issue because the kitchen was small so the kitchen can get out of hand pretty quickly. At the time my hubby said he would responsible for all of the dishes and I wouldn't have to lift a finger. Time as gone on and although he does do the occasional load it is left to me most of the time (He writes on here as Bruffyboy so if you fancy giving him a low rate on one his reviews then I'm not going to argue!!!! Not that I'm holding a grudge! Only joking). I hate paying over the odds for most things and that includes washing up liquid. I know brand names like Fairy are suppose to be really good but I was sure there would be something out there that was a tad cheaper but did the job just as well and thats where this washing up liquid comes in.

Abottle of this cost me around 70p but they tend to have it on offer most of the time so I pick up 2 for £1 which I think is really reasonable considering I paid 40p for Sainsbury's 'Basics' range last week and it isn't half as good.

I usually fill my washing up bowl to near the top but I only need a tiny squirt of this as it seems to go quite far. Using just a small amount makes quite a lot of bubbles that seem to last. I hate it when you have a liquid that doesn't create many bubbles because as you wash the dishes the bubbles disappear and you are left with the just the water so need to refill the bowl again and again.

The smell of this is really lovely. The lime is quite strong and fills the kitchen. I can't say that the cucmber is evident straight away but there is a small hint of it if you sniff a bit harder.

I tend to let my dishes pile up a bit before washing a big load (lazy I know!) and I don't tend to rinse them so they always have bits of food that is stuck to the pots and plates so it's a real test when it comes to making the plates clean again. I have to say that this washing up liquid is brilliant. It very quickly dissolves the food and doesn;t take much scrubbing to loosen it and make the plates sparkling clean.

Over all I would definately recommend that you try this as it's so much cheaper than the leading brand but in my opinion, it's just as good.

Summary: A bottle of this goes a long way.
