... turned out that not the paper itself but the cardboard bit inside was scented . It claimed to be 'Ylang Ylang and Rose' - personally, I have no idea what a Ylang Ylang might be, or what it should smell like, but the rose scent was most definately present and correct . I found that the smell was strong enough to disguise milder toilety smells, and was noticeable when entering the bathroom from the hallway . The paper itself, a very pale peach colour ( although you can get it in white also), was luxuriously thick and s...more

Premium Review Asda Shades Aroma Bathroom Tissue: Posh Perfumed Poo Paper (508 words)

When I buy loo roll, I'm really not too fussy . I'm loyal to no brand, and frankly I don't care what colour it is, whether it has puppies printed on it, or whether is had pretty embossing. Its for one purpose and one purpose only - bum wiping. Those pretty patterns aren't going to look so good when its used, after all . So, I was a bit dubious about buying scented loo roll, but, It seemed like a fun idea, and at £1.69 for 4 rolls, it wasn't too pricey . I went shopping last week with my other half, this is highly unusual, usually I go alone with my shopping list in hand and whip round the isles just buying the same products all the time. This time was slightly different, for a start it took twice as long because we were talking and considering different products on the way round. Having my other half in tow can be likened to having a small child with you when shopping, he gets bored! I sent him off to get a few products here and there that were on my list and one of them was toilet roll, I sent him to get a four pack of our usual toilet roll, Asda shades. What he came back with was slightly ...  Read the complete review
