We get through loads of kitchen roll so always try the cheaper makes to save a few quid. I'd read loads of good things about this Smart Price one so told my mum to add a pack to her online order to try it out.

I don't think it's that good really and the best thing about it is the price I reckon!

For a start the sheets are loads thinner than other kitchen rolls and the paper is nowhere near as strong as the one we get from the pound shop sometimes. It doesn't absorb as well either, yesterday I had to use 6 sheets to mop up a very small spill of cordial in the kitchen and I thought at the time that Bounty would have done it in one sheet.

I think the feel of it is proper cheap as well and there's no way I would use this one to wipe my face with like I do sometimes if I need to get my make up off in a hurry downstairs. We only get Bounty when it's on special offer but even at full price it's a zillion times better than this.

There's no way you could use this to clean the cooker or kitchen sides like we do with other makes of kitchen roll because it would just fall to pieces.

I suppose this is ok if you only use kitchen roll for very light spills or wiping the table top but if you need to use it on heavier or dirtier jobs then I'd buy something else instead, like I said even the kitchen roll from the pound shop is tougher and more reliable thatn this one.
