Asda Smartprice Rubber Gloves
Advantages: Cheap and re-useable.
Disadvantages: Not good for people with big hands!
One thing that i don't wear very often are rubber gloves for cleaning, this i think is due to me working in a medical environment and i have to wear them (under duress!) for work.
Just recently though i have noticed that my skin has become very dry and cracked, which at work is no problem as under the latex free gloves i have to wear a cotton liner glove for this reason, but at home even washing up liquid has been irritating my skin, never mind my beloved bleach!
As a last resort i decided to purchase some rubber gloves for when my hands got really sore, my friend reccomended the Asda Smartpriced one's as they are slightly furry inside, so hopefully reducing down the chance of my hands sweating and creating more of a problem with my skin.
Within the pack there are two pairs of gloves, one for my sore skin days, and one for oven cleaning and random bouts of children vomiting days (i handle bloodied surgical instruments daily, yet a bit of vomit creases me!), with the gloves being a bog standard yellow colour.
The fit of the glove was again standard, though were a little big on me due to my abnormally small hands, my husband has worn these once and stated that whilst he had managed to put them on, he was slowly losing sensation in his fingers! (So dramatic, lol!).
The insides are indeed quite furry feeling, and though the gloves are not as thick as i was expecting, the furry element did hold a bit of the heat away from my skin, with my hands not really feeling that damp after removing them.
I have used these to wash up, scrub in and even bleached and scrubbed the toilet (though these are now specifically saved for that job!), with the smallest amount of wear and tear, though there is a little discoloration from the bleach, but i still find them more than useable, and i do find myself wearing them a bit more often, even when not having a sore skin day!
Price wise these are a fantastic price, available within Asda's budget brand, these gloves only cost me 47p, and with me being able to use and re-use over again i would highly recommend them (but perhaps not to people with huge hands!).

Summary: A decent pair of gloves.
