Toilet tissue is what my friends and myself call toilet paper. Its uses are many. It can be used to wipe your nose, to clean surfaces, to wipe your bum and also, it is great for drying coca leaves in order to prepare cocaine. In Bolivia you may come across backyards of coca farmers littered with sheets of toilet paper with ... Read the complete review

Truth be told this isn't my first choice when it comes to buying toilet roll but it does the job. Costing just under £1.30 for a pack of 12 rolls it works out quite cheap, especially considering a pack of 4 can cost nearly £3. You can get so many different types of toliet roll nowdays, quilted, scented, moist, patterened, ... Read the complete review

I've only recently started buying Smart Price loo roll, after buying recycled toilet roll for long time, but in this day and age, saving the planet has to come second to saving money I'm afraid. I was pleasantly surprised by the Smart Price toilet roll, I expected it to be far rougher than it was, I'd been imagining that horrible waxy ... Read the complete review

Did you hear about the constipated accountant? He couldn't budget so he had to work it out with a pencil and paper. There is a dazzling selection of toilet rolls available nowadays - quilted, coated, scented, antibacterial, with added moisturiser , with pretty patterns, toilet rolls designed to perfectly complement your ... Much like the sweetie aisle the toilet roll section in Asda as well as most other supermarkets appears to present us with so much choice now days that it all too often becomes a mesmerising vortex of utter confusion as to what on earth you should purchase. Realistically cost in the toilet roll department should be the main driving force in ... Read the complete review

When it comes to buying toilet tissue I have only ever bought supermarket own brands and have always been satisfied with the quality of these. On a recent economy drive I decided to try the Asda Smart Price toilet rolls and see how they compared to the normal Asda own brand. I shop online through Asda direct and I can get the smart ... Toilet roll is one thing people talk about when discussing which brand they buy. I used to buy Morrison's own brand loo roll, not as expensive as the brands, but did a good enough job. Then the credit started crunching and I was trying to find ways of a) not shopping too often to save cash and b) trying to find cheaper ... Read the complete review

I have recently been on quite an economy drive as I have just moved into a new place that is quite expensive to rent, and I am keen to save money where I can. I figured toilet paper is toilet paper, we're just going to throw it away, why not buy smart price? The first thing to mention is that this paper does come presentably, it's well ... I picked up a 4 pack of Asda Smartprice Toilet Tissue while I was shopping last week, for just 43p. They also come in a pack of 12 for around £1.17. I am sick of paying nearly a fiver for a pack of say 12 rolls for Andrex / Charmin etc and decided enough was enough and I would give the cheaper versions a whirl. I have used supermarket own ... I always said to myself that the last area I would scrimp and save on was toilet roll; if you can't treat your bum, what can you treat? However, our toilet roll was just going up and up in price, and I reluctantly decided to give these Asda ones a go. You get 12 rolls for £1.17, each roll containing 200 sheets, which is around 1/4 of the price I ... Read the complete review

I like to buy my toilet tissue in bulk because we seem to go through it at an alarming rate for some reason. I was picking up a 24 roll of Asda Shades but I got sick of the price creeping up each month so I decided to go on a quest for a cheaper but better toilet roll. I tried quite a few of the cheaper toilet tissues including ... Read the complete review
