      .

I was sure that I had tried this scent before the other month when I bought this again. This Softener was on offer for £2 for the 2 litre bottle - well actually this is a 1.995 litre bottle for some odd reason. I think you can also get this in a 750ml bottle as well but can't say for sure.

This is a concentrate Softener and on the bottle of this size it states that this will do an average of 57 washes and this is based on using a full capful of this Softener. It states on the back of the bottle the measurements that you would use for extra softness, size of load of washing etc.

The bottle looks alright. It's quite a chunky rectangular bottle and not the easiest bottle to hold to be honest, but I think this is more due to the fact of the size of this bottle. It's pretty large. You just measure this out into the cap of this as the usual way to use a product like this. The only critisism of this is that I find it a bit hrd to measure the liquid out into the cap as instead of the cap being a wide but perhaps deep shape like Lenor or Comfort caps, this is more a thin but long cap, so trying to hold the cap and tip the liquid into it isn't too easy but can be done withough spilling any. It's just a bit more awkward.

So now to the important part - how does this smell? It is a nice smell. It's a very fresh and clean smell, and although it isn't exactly a clean cotton kind of smell, but it does smell fresh and airy. It's a nice smell and although the scent of it lingers on your clothes after they are dried it isn't that strong a scent but I do find that this is usually more the case with Supermarket Softeners compared to brand named ones.

I would recommend this as it smells so nice and fresh and the price of this is good as well.

After deciding to try some more "flavours" in the Asda fabric conditioner range, I came across this little gem.

The softener I will now review is - "Asda softener - line fresh"

My main reason for trying a shops own branded conditioner was for one reason and one reason alone....the price!
I have always before used the better known brands, and always been lucky enough to buy them when they were on offer, but after going shopping and realising that there were no offers running that particular day I decided to try this range.

I have previously reviewed one of the "sensitive" flavours in this range and was only disappointed with the lack of scent, and I am all about the lingering scent that's my favourite thing about freshly laundered clothes, so I had no qualms about trying the other scents available.

As with all the others in this range the bottle is bog standard, with the liquid being visible through the clear plastic, it states that this bottle contains 750ml of concentrated liquid, which could equate to 2 washes, though only if doing slightly smaller loads, more is required for larger family sized loads.

Measuring amounts is easy enough to do, simply add a cap full (smaller loads) or add an extra ½ a cap for the larger loads, this of course reduces down the amount of washes available out of a bottle but I do tend to add a bit "for luck" with most washes!

The scent of the liquid going in is actually quite subtle, but once rinsed through your clothes seems to be a little more intense, but not over poweringly so.

The scent seems to release a little more after being worn and slightly warmed up with body heat, and this leaves them very soft and much easier to iron....yes I do tumble dry as well, but due to how much washing I have I tend to cram, dry then iron!

Price wise these are available all year round for the price of 95p, which even for its slightly reduced size compared to others, is great value and I do feel this may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
