With my cleaning business i ask my clients to provide the cleaning products, so i do find myself provided with a variety of cleaning products from all my clients. When it comes to cleaning toilets i have of course been provided with various incarnations of harpic, domestos and toilet duck, but one client this week left this new asda toilet cleaner out which i'd never seen before. I don't personally shop at asda so whether its new or not i'm not too sure. Anyway its called asda ultimate power toilet cleaner, and comes in a black 750ml. All in all its asdas discount version of the harpic powerplus brand. The black bottle resembles the harpic one, and even comes with the ... Read the complete review

I love cleaning bathrooms and toilets. You really feel your sense of worth when you are on your hands and knees feverishly rubbing away at dried on stains and dubious lumps around the bowl. One of life's less thankful tasks is rewarded with the satisfaction of having a spankingly clean toilet and a sense of pride. You almost want to invite people around to your house just to show them your handywork. Toilet cleaning can be made easier if you rely on good products. My preferred choices are Toilet Duck and Parazone, but a trip to Asda a few weeks ago resulted in the purchase of this beauty. A snip at seventy odd pence and a generous sized bottle too, rivalling Tesco in the Read the complete review

I buy a lot of cheaper brands of toilet cleaners because I find them very good value for money. I don't mind the cheaper ones because I think some of them work just as well as a well known brand and the cheaper ones can save me a little money. I bought this gel for only 80p for a 750 bottle. It comes housed in a black plastic bottle and one that has a child proof top. The gel is a nice blue colour and looks refreshing too. It has a citrus smell and I thought it would probably be more of a perfume smell but I was wrong with this one but I like the smell of citrus smelling toilet cleaners. It does have that fresh smell and one that indicates it is a good one ... Read the complete review

When it comes to cleaning, my mate, who I'm staying with at the moment is as bad as me. She's a complete clean freak and I kid you not you would be shocked at all the different bottles and tubs etc of cleaning things we have around and about the place just to clean one house! It's a bit mad really thinking about it lol. However her having four dogs you do feel you have to be extra careful I guess which explains the most part of her habit I think! However this product she picked up in Asda the other day as it was buy one get one free and we both hate nothing more than a grubby smelly toilet and in her house we have two of them! lol. The ... It was normally a brand named product I used for this job until about 6 months ago. I think it was more because at the time there didn't seem to be any Supermarket ones that I could see when looking around but thesedays there is a Supermarket brand version of every product I think. Due to the price of this I thought I may as well have a shot at buying this and if I didn't think it was any good then just don't buy it again. This cost me 78p for the 750ml bottle. I usually buy the brand named one when it is on offer for £1 but haven't seen it for that price for a while. Normally the brand named ones can cost around £1.30 or perhaps more. The bottle for this ... Read the complete review
