Advantages: Everything

Disadvantages: None at all I cant think of!

When it comes to cleaning, my mate, who I'm staying with at the moment is as bad as me. She's a complete clean freak and I kid you not you would be shocked at all the different bottles and tubs etc of cleaning things we have around and about the place just to clean one house! It's a bit mad really thinking about it lol.

However her having four dogs you do feel you have to be extra careful I guess which explains the most part of her habit I think! However this product she picked up in Asda the other day as it was buy one get one free and we both hate nothing more than a grubby smelly toilet and in her house we have two of them! lol.

The Packaging:

Black plastic bottle with a push down and unscrew red lid/cap to the top of it. On the front of the bottle it has a light grey label and on that I'm told that it is Asda Power Toilet Cleaner 'Removes tough and stubborn stains. Eliminates bad odours in your toilet bowl', and that it is 750ml in size. On the back of the bottle there is a white label and on that I'm told a bit about the product, directions for use, ingredients, warnings and cautions are all given and contact details for Asda are of course listed as they always are on Asda's own brand of products! Nice enough bottle and I do appreciate the angled nozzle to the top of it to get it under the rim of the toilet with total ease!

Using It:

Well this is a runny dark blue liquid and it has a sort of lemon menthol sort of smell to it. It is a pleasant, clean and fresh smell and does squeeze out of the bottle with total ease. It's glossy but none oily and although runny enough it does look like a gel so it isn't like water or anything like that.

All you do with this is squirt it under the rim of the toilet and leave it for a couple of hours or overnight. You can of course use this to spruce up the toilet more quickly and in that case all you do is squirt it on grub or where you feel it's smelly, leave it for a couple of minutes and then scrub it with a toilet brush. To make sure you kill germs though this does need to be left a minimum of 1 hour though.

I find this easy to use, have used it for a couple of hours to get the toilet looking and smelling fresher and it's worked. I have left it overnight and the same.... I have felt it to work excellently. I have also had a dirty toilet after using it too and squirted some on and then scrubbed the loo out and flushed it and basically any way you use this makes the toilet look and smell fresher!

There's not alot you can say about this though really! It cleans toilets and leaves them looking immaculate though you have to work with it and it does nothing on it's own really. So if you have debris in the toilet it doesn't remove it all by itself and you do need to wipe and rinse of course.

I think this is a great product and the reason I like it so much really is the lovely and not too heavy aroma it possesses!

Only available in Asda stores costing 75p a bottle unless it's on offer.

Summary: A great economical product!
