Cleaning is a dirty job and I will not lie to you, it is not my favourite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon! As a football widow, you would think I have more exciting things to do but I don't so when my boyfriend leaves the house, I clean it. I do not have any loyalty to any particular brands and usually buy the cheapest product I can find. This was a so called bargain that I found in the Pounshop.
==Price and availability==
The bottle comes in a 500ml bottle size and it costs £1. You use the product in small amounts so that it lasts for a really long time. I bought it from a pound shop but I do recognise the brand name and I have seen it for sale in Lidl before now.
==Description and directions==
The liquid smells but it does not carry that offensive bleach smell. To use the product you need to spray it on the area you want to clean. The product comes in a spray bottle. This product is not a disinfectant and more of a general cleaner which makes things look shiny and clean. It is mostly used for ceramic hobs, shiny cupboard doors and bathroom furniture and tiles.
The spray is blue and looks like a window cleaner; it actually smells quite like one too. It has a lemony cleaner scent which does make the room smell quite fresh. The product is useless on windows but on mirrors and tiles it does the job.
I used this on the kitchen window and it was such as pain as it kept streaking and smearing. It just smeared the dirt on the window and the window kept looking foggy. It took ages to get a nice glowing finish so I refuse to use this on windows anymore. I have used it on mirrors and this is marginally better but smears a bit too. The product is easy to use as it is a good sized bottle and has an easy to use spray trigger.
When I have sprayed this on the bathroom tiles, it has brought them up really well. It goes on well with a lovely aroma and then wipes off leaving a smooth finish. It does not leave any residue either which is a good thing but on the whole it is not the best spray I have bought.
I knew it was not a disinfectant when I bought it but I also thought it would do as window cleaner. It has now been resigned to a tile cleaner alone. Obviously this has its uses but I would have preferred a more robust multi-purpose cleaner. This bottle will last we a long time as I can only use it in the bathroom and on the kitchen tiles. I would not buy it again; even at a pound it does not represent good value for money. The best thing about it is the scent but even this is not worth paying a pound for.
