Advantages: Removes even the most stubborn stains

Disadvantages: none

Who would ever think that a little white stick could produce such amazing results. My hubby was always getting small oil stains on the car seats, so I needed something easy to apply that was quick drying, but also powerful enough to remove the stains.

After trying out many products I eventually found the Astonish stain revover stick. This is my little container of pop-up power. The stain remover stick, is just that, a solid block of white stain removing substance, that looks and feels like a block of lard(for want of a better description).

This stuff comes in a little solid tube with a lid on, and applying it couldn`t be easier. You just remove the lid and stick your thumb up the bottom of the tube to push the block out. To apply to stains, you dip it in water and rub it on. If the stain is really stubborn, then you get better results if you scrub it in with a small nail brush.

As you only need to use a little water, then the area you have treated doesn`t take long to dry, and once dry the stain will have completely vanished. To be honest I wasn`t expecting this stuff to work, so I was really surprised how quickly the stains went, and with so little effort too.

There`s not really a fragrance to the block, except for maybe a slight chemical smell, but once the area is dry there is no smell at all. The stain block can be used to treat carpets, upholstery, and clothes. It works wonders when applied to shirt collars and cuffs, and totally removes they grey marks in a jiffy. It`s also excellent for little grease spills on furniture and clothing. To use it in the wash, you just rub a small amount into the stain and wash as normal.

Now don`t ask me what is in this wonder block because it doesn`t actually say on the tube. All you are told is that there are no harmful chemicals and that it`s biodegradable.

Now I`ve just got one little problem left. I paid £1.99 for this little tube, but because you only need to use a tin
y amount it has lasted me for almost a year. Now in all that time I`ve forgotten where I bought it, and now I need some more. I know it wasn`t from a supermarket, so it was either from the kleeneze catalogue or from Wilkinsons, so it shouldn`t take me too long to hunt it down.
