Advantages: smells of lavender, nice bottle, easy to use

Disadvantages: very strong smell

I got given this spray as a gift from a friend who bought a couple and then didn't like the scent. It's lavender of course but I have to admit it is very strong.

My bottle is in a metal container, the picture appears to be plastic, so it's a silver bottle with a grey, plastic pump action dispenser. The bottle is 125ml and as it smells so strongly you don't need much so it lasts ages. I have no idea of the cost as I didn't buy it but as it's Avon I doubt it's very expensive.

As far as room sprays go I don't use many, I don't think my animals and tropical fish need air fresheners spraying around them, but if I do use one I prefer the scent to be fresh. Lavender is a very pungent scent that doesn't make you think of the word fresh.

So I've sprayed mine onto the duvet cover before, it doesn't mark fabric and the idea was the lavender might help me sleep. It's quite nice when used this way and does leave a fragrance on the material for the duration of a night but after that it's gone.

I've used it once or twice as a room spray in the bedroom too but you do have to be careful not to go overboard, it really is a very strong smelling spray and if you spray too much you can end up choking!

Overall I'd say this is ok as a linen spray for your bedding, I doubt many people would want it on their clothes! It's fine as a room spray as long as you limit it to a couple of squirts and it does smell as you expect it to, very strong lavender.

I wouldn't buy this myself but I'm happy to use up the bottle I have. If you like lavender this spray is for you!
