      .

This scent used to be out in the main Avon books, but it has been out the main book for a little while now. It's a shame as I think it is a nice scent but there seems to be scents that are out all the time in the book, and then ones that come and go.

The Room spray comes in a 125ml bottle and the normal price of this when this was in the main book was £4. Even in the main book you can sometimes pick this up for 99p - £1.50. I got this in the sale book a few books ago for £1.50.

The bottle looks the same as the picture on here. It is a clear plastic bottle and there is a wrap around label on the bottle. There is a nice enough picture of a Green Apple on the front and it all looks fine. This is a pump action bottle so this is quite economical as a few squirts of this go a long way.

This is safe to spray on fabrics and although I don't tend to spray this directly onto a Couch or that, but since I tend to spray this in the middle of a room then I know that this will settle on my Couch, Bed etc.

I tend to spray between 4-8 sprays depending on how much I want to smell this. The smell is a nice fresh scent and smells just like Dewy fresh Apples. You can smell a slight gritty scent, well Gritty isn't exactly the word I would use to describe it, but the Honeysuckle adds a bit of a light different scent which breaks the Fruity scent up.

The scent lasts a good enough lenght of time too. I can still smell this a good few hours later and I don't have to spray this more than once a day.

A lovely scent and as long as I can still pick this up in the sale book now and again then I will be fine with that.

A lovely smelling fragrance, but it really doesn't last

I don't tend to buy Avon products myself, but I do get given them frequently as gifts, particularly their range of shower gels and perfumes. A while ago however, I got given, for the first time, this Avon room and linen spray, in the scent of Apply and Honeysuckle. Now, I couldn't find exactly how much this product cost for the 125ml bottle, however most of the Avon Naturals room sprays can be purchased for around £2, which I think it very good value, when you compare it to other room sprays.

THe bottle itself is quite tall and thin, and on the front has as picture of its two main ingredients: Apple and Honeysuckle. THe bottle is clear and you can therefore easily see how much you have left in the bottle as you use it.

I have found the spray to be very easy to use. It is easy to press down, and doesn't get stuck easily like some sprays. This spray, like its title suggests, can be used as both a room spray to freshen up a certain area and help with odours, but it cn also be used on furnishings in the home.

I have been using this product now for several weeks, but I have only used it as a room spray, rather than on any furnishings. When you first spray this fragrance, the scent is beautiful and it is very very easy to distinguish the apple scent, which can to a degree overpower the honeysuckle. We have grown honeysuckle in the garden before, and I don't think the scent given after spraying, really emphasises the honeysucke, and if you didn't know what the scent was, I don't think you would naturally guess honeysuckle. THere is a real sweet fruity smell, that isn't sickening, but is simply fresh. I have tended to use this as a general room spray, especially when guests are coming over, or I spray it on pot pourri to liven up its smell in the room. I haven't actually used it in the bathroom as a way of covering smells, and to be totally honest, I don't know that the scent would be strong enough or last long enough to cover any smells that might arise in a bathroom.

The downside of this spray, as I have touched on briefly, is that it doesn't really last. I know that after a while, your nose becomes used to a scent, and you don't smell it so easily. However, when you return to a room a short time later, when your nose has time to get used to the smell again, I never really smell the spray easily. It just doesn't appear to last, which I find very disappointing. You need to be prepared to spray regularly to keep any kind of scent in the room. I have a more expensive room spray from bhs, and there is a marked difference in its duration. I can spray the bhs spray and come back into a room, and still smell it just as well, as when I first sprayed it.

All in all, I really love the smell of this scent, as it is a beautiful sweet fruity scent, but in my experience, unless you are willing to spray and respray, it does not last long enough to compete with many other room sprays on the market.
